I do not trust any other place for sushi & we haven't ordered from anywhere else since we started in 2019. Whoever reads this review this is not a pass go & collect restaurant, this is a stop & savour moment where all the food is delicious. There is a reason we only order from Itamea. The food tonight for Valentines day was fresh & as they say they put their foot in it. C'etait a se rouler parterre c'etait tellement bon. Worth the splurge & worth supporting your local restaurant. Thank you for an awesome meal tonight. Itamea has no equivalent.
Normally good sushi, but I received a shrimp roll where the intestinal tract had not been cleaned properly.
Je suis venue chercher ma commande que j'avais fait préparée d'avance. Le service a été super rapide & efficace. Les sushis étaient à ma fois, DÉLICIEUX. J'ai déjà hâte de recommander une prochaine fois & d'en manger à nouveau!??
For takeout, this is some of the best sushi I've had. To put in perspective, I found that the des Laurentides Itamea has lost its quality. So we decided to try the dagenais itamea, & it was EXCELLENT.
The amount of actual fish they use in their sushi is incredible. The pieces are quite massive so you might need less than you think. Very flavourful we will certainly be back.
Also, highly suggest the chef specialties. They might be a bit more expensive but damn was that good.

The sushis were sooo fresh!! I heard a lot of people praising this restaurant so I wanted to try it out. Omg I do not regret it one bit! Definitely a new favorite & the fact that it's close by is a big plus for us.
Wow! Je suis assez difficile avec les sushis & c'est rare que je trouve une place qui me satisfait… mais ici les sushis étaient Excellent & d'une grande fraîcheur!!!

C'est un endroit plutot prévu pour du take out, la salle à manger est petite & il y a bq de va & viens pr les commandes pr emporter.
Got a few orders of sushis'a la carte' as take out. A firework of flavours in every bite. Fish, rice, all the ingredients were so fresh, so good. I even called them back to let them know how satisfied & happy I was. Can't wait for my next sushi craving so I can try more on their menu. Thanks!!
We love Itamea on Dagenais in Laval! We've been ordering take-out faithfully almost weekly for at least ten years now. Dave at the counter always treats us special! 😉 The sushi is super fresh & tasty. Highly recommend!

Parmis les meilleurs sushis que j'ai mangé dans Montréal & ses environs. Le poisson est frais, le riz est parfait & très bon rapport qualité prix. La prochaine fois je vais essayer d'y aller en personne!

I love eating sushi at this place & I highly recommend it ! The workers are always so nice ! It's a very kid-friendly restaurant because there's always a bowl of candy & it's free !
