Isle de Garde est décrit comme une adresse chaleureuse et populaire qui offre une carte variée de bières et de cidres, des plats de style pub gastronomique et une ambiance conviviale. L'endroit est cosy et animé, le personnel est sympathique et compétent, et la terrasse ajoute un vrai plus par beau temps. La fréquentation peut rendre le service moins attentif et le bruit peut être soutenu, avec quelques remarques sur des limitations pour les options végétariennes ou sans alcool, mais dans l'ensemble le lieu est perçu comme une brasserie locale de référence pour les amateurs de bière et de bonne nourriture, et beaucoup le considèrent comme un incontournable à Montréal et y retournent volontiers.
Went for an IPA, noticed they had a ice whisky collection & had some great whiskey, beer, & service. Seriously we felt welcomed,appreciated & the whiskey & beer was delicious. My partner & I talked about renting a table/stool to stay in while we were here. & then the service went up a notch & they gave us a list of other bars & food we should go to/check out. Honestly a great moment when just looking for a randon bee

The host was so welcoming, the food & beers were good but sadly the rest of the service was very underwhelming. We had planned to stay for a few beers after eating but decided to go elsewhere instead.
Brilliant Had a flight that included to smoked beers. They paired perfectly with the tartare & my joy was significant. It was a cool night & I'd walked far. The atmosphere was ideal - warm & welcoming Would go back a dozen times & suspect my satisfaction would remain high. Well done.
Lovely selection of beers, nice selection of menu items for veg + non veg, plus a bustling fun vibe. Clearly a spot people love to hang, considering the terrible torrential rain on the night we visited!
Some of the best food in the neighbourhood, the beer is all very well-made & delicious, & they have a good selection of other drinks if beer isn't your style!

One of my favorite places for beer & food in Montréal. The beer selection is incredible & their european style beers like English ales & their sours are very good. Their fries are a new classic & the fried chicken is top notch. Good friendly service too.
L'ambiance était géniale & la bière très fraîche - brassée sur place avec du malt européen. Il y a aussi beaucoup de choix sans alcool. Je recommande vivement !!
The vibe was great & the beer was super fresh - brewed in-house with European malt. Lots of non-alcoholic options as well. Highly recommend!!
Isle de Garde holds a special place for us & has been so since we started regularly visiting in 2019 while on holiday in Montreal. My wife & I started off going there on dates & now we are a family of four on the patio for happy hour &'slush popo' from next door. Been a great destination in every iteration. Great beers, food & service. Great, accessible location. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.
Huge beer list & knowledgeable staff. The menu prices came to a bit of a shock to me as i was expecting a brewpub, but will come back to drink nonetheless.
