Sharing plates were good. Have had better Izakaya in Montreal. Main, not great. Seemed it was under heat warmer for too long. Ramen noodles had soaked up all broth by time it came to table. Service- forgot to submit order for additional starter, plus submitted incorrect order. Steak instead of ribs. Overall won't be returning.Voir plus
Excellent service. La nourriture était bonne. Par contre mon ramen n'avais aucun bouillon, donc qu'un bol de pâtes avec crevettes, les pétoncles ne semblaient pas suffisamment cuit non plus. Il y a aussi le dessert, le gâteau au fromage, que j'ai trouvais qui était un petit peu trop riche au goût (Genre de goût, trop crémeux & non léger) ce qui rendait difficile de le manger complètement.Voir plus

Ça fait deux fois que j'y vais & les deux fois ce fut impeccable.
La nourriture est délicieuse. Je conseille vivement le menu Expérience qui comprend 7 assiettes à partager à 2.
Le service est chaleureux & rapide. Petite mention spéciale à Simon. La première fois que j'y suis allée, c'était mon serveur. Je ne trouvais pas le drink que je voulais dans le menu des cocktails, il a donc sorti ses talents en mixologie & m'a fait un drink sur mesure. Son drink était tout simplement parfait.
La deuxième fois que j'y suis retournée, Simon n'était pas mon serveur, mais je lui ai tout de même demandé de me faire un cocktail signé Simon. Il m'en a donc gentiment réinventé un. Ce drink méritait aussi la note de 10/10.Voir plus

Where do I start. This was such an uncomfortable & awkward dinner situation. I showed up at the restaurant just passed 9pm. I had absolutely no expectations but I noticed they had a sign in the entrance that said they had a special from Sunday to Thursday starting from 9pm for 3 items for 33$. I was thinking thats cool, so i went online & saw that they had 10 options you could choose from the 3 for 3 menu. So i kindly told my waiter thats what i would choose. He said the menu had changed a bit but didnt specify what exactly had changed. I also asked if he popular go to utems on his menu & answered yes but didn't specify what they were 🤔 I ended up picking my own choice of 3 options from the 3 for 3 options & picked one item that wasnt (hence 4 items total thinking i would pay 33$ plus my item that wasnt on the 3 fir 33 menu) . When my food arrived my second item was something i had never ordered so i asked the waiter & he kindly said there was a misunderstanding & that the item I originally asked for was no longer on the menu. So i went back to the 3 for 3 menu & told him to give me a bit of time to choose something else. I end up choosing a 3rd item. At the end of my meal the waiter kindly brought me a dessert & said it was for not having the item i had asked for initially whuch I gladly accepted. When it came time to pay for the bill i didnt understand why it was much pricier than what I expected it to be. I looked at it sbd to my surprise there was no 3 for 33$ special it was everything at its original price. I kindly told the waiter I didn't understand the price & asked why the 3 for 33$ special hadnt bedn applied to my bill. He said im sorry the 3 for 33$ spexhas not been removed from our website. I looked st him puzzled & said you have a big sign in the entrance way stating 3 for 33$ after 9pm??? He then said ge was dorry & thst he would change the bill. It was a very unpleasant situation. Its a shame because i live right nxt to this restaurant & it was my first time there i would really wanted to love my experience so i could go back but it just made me uncomfortable. Also a shame because the food was really good. Unfortunately i will not be returning be ause of this reason.Voir plus
Iru Izakaya est un restaurant qui propose une cuisine japonaise savoureuse dans une ambiance conviviale. Cependant, les prix peuvent être considérés comme un peu élevés pour la qualité globale, & une certaine inconsistance dans la nourriture & le service a été notée. Si vous recherchez une expérience izakaya authentique & que le prix n'est pas votre principal critère, Iru Izakaya peut valoir le détour. Ambiance is great; relaxed casual setting, & decor reminiscent of sights you'd see in Tokyo. Food was good, sake selection is great, but the star of the show was Vivanne, who gave us top tier service.
She was very attentive to our table, always serving us with a smile. Since we booked for a dinner to celebrate my birthday a few weeks late, my friends had brought me a gift bag. She noticed it by the table, & finished the meal by bringing me a birthday dessert (with sparklers!) without my friends even asking.
Will definitely come back, even just to explore the sake list a bit more.

Tout était délicieux pour ma part . J'ai pris les gyoza au boeuf (5 unités) , beignets de crabes (2 unités assez généreux ) , poulet karaage laqué à la sauce épicé (portion généreuse) & le contrefilet de boeuf mariné ! Le repas avec le riz & un exemple d'assiette que vous pouvez également manger . Je suggère fortement d'essayer cet endroit . Le personnel est très agréable .Voir plus
Le décor crée une ambiance vraiment intéressante ! Le service était ok. Le repas était satisfaisant. Particulièrement les frites qui étaient excellentes ! Je n'ai pas été surprise &/ou boulversé par ma dégustation maaaais ça le fait quand même.
