Il Pazzesco has been noticed and appreciated by Montreal gourmets since it was founded in 1991 by brothers Michele and Mario Lapadula. Following the expansion and renovation in the winter of 2001, the restaurant is divided into two separate rooms, one of which has a dance floor. You can reserve either one of the rooms for more privacy, and the same attentive service.
In May 2002 the daily newspaper “La Presse” described Il Pazzesco as being a discovery in Anjou (découverte à Anjou.)

Venu d'Europe visiter le Nord-est de l'Amérique. Restaurant très agréable avec un service de qualité & fort sympathique. Cuisine italienne excellente & rapport qualité/prix parfait. Je recommande sans hésiter si vous cherchez un restaurant dans ce quartier de Montréal.

Had a very nice evening with friends from out of town. I had never been to this restaurant, the reviews were good so we decided to try it. The food was very good & old school italian cuisine, loved it! We had great service & great food, what more can you ask for. Will definitely go back!
La nourriture est vraiment goûteuse & authentique de l'Italie les portions sont généreuse & les prix sont totalement raisonnable pour la qualité que l'on reçoit, le service client étais exceptionnel, merci a Nicolas qui nous a fait passer une soirée très agréable. L'ambiance est très cozy, avec une lumière tamisée. Le seul défaut je trouve c'est la musique un tout petit peu forte mais autrement tout étais parfais en tout point un beau bravo a tous !
Meuilleur restaurant italien vraiment incroyable. La cuisine est authentique & délicieuse. Les pâtes fraîches sont un véritable régal pour les papilles. Le service est impeccable & chaleureux. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à tous les amateurs de cuisine italienne.

Réservation inexacte, service lent mais sympa, ambiance bruyante mais nourriture très bonne au dessus de la moyenne, prix un peu cher mais pas exagérer, on y retourne, table hôte & ardoise d'entrées hors de l'ordinaire, oui c'est vraiment italien, terrasse trop petite
We shared the gnocchi as an entrée & they were the fluffiest, lightest ever. The gorgonzola sauce was divine. Then we followed with the Duo di casa (garlic shrimp & veal casanova) with a side of fettucine alfredo. Wow! Everything was scrumptious!
We also shared half bottle of Pinot Grigio. Which was reasonably priced for a restaurant.

Sortie de garderie improvisée aujourd'hui : notre petit voulait une pizza. On a cherché une pizzeria de quartier sur Google Maps, sans grandes attentes, & on est tombés sur Il Pazzesco.
Situé dans un petit stationnement sur une rue passante, rien ne laissait présager ce petit bijou. On débarque, habillés comme des parents en fin de shift, deux enfants en vrac… & pourtant : accueil impeccable, service attentionné, aucune condescendance malgré le chaos familial.
Côté bouffe, le tartare de saumon était un modèle de simplicité maîtrisée, aucune fioriture inutile, juste le goût qu'il faut. La pieuvre ? Franchement excellente. Pour le reste, on s'est contentés de pâtes & de pizza, excellentes elles aussi, mais j'ai comme l'impression qu'on a raté les véritables vedettes du menu.
Bref, une superbe découverte, qu'on a déjà hâte de revisiter. Souvent.
On a attendu environ 45 min.pour avoir nos plats(on était 2),j ai pris le plat Osso bucco,la viande était bonne mais le risotto était dur....pour le prix,ce resto ne vaut pas la peine...
