D'habitude j'aime la nourriture & l'ambiance est bien, sauf que la dernière fois quand je suis allée à ce restaurant, le serveur a choisi le pourboire sur la machine sans me le dire & s'est donné un pourboire très généreux de 25%, je n'avais pas réalisé qu'il avait déjà mis le pourboire & j'ai payé sauf qu'après sur la facture j'ai réalisé que le pourboire avait été choisi pour moi parce que je n'aurais pas donné 25%. Je suis allé voir le serveur pour lui dire que je pense qu'il y a eu une erreur avec le pourboire & il a compris immédiatement ce que je voulais dire donc je suis certaine que ce n'était pas un accident & il a sorti 5$ de son portefeuille & il me l'a donné. Lorsque sa collègue lui a demandé ce qu'il se passe, il a dit que c'était juste un malentendu. C'était évident qu'il l'a fait exprès.

Un endroit sympathique mais qui ne donne pas l'heure juste quand on pose une question sur le menu table d'hôte si on demande une variante. De plus, ne demandez pas une eau chaude citron à la fin du repas, ils vous factureront 2,50$ sans vous en aviser auparavant!!!
It's such a beautiful spot-inside & out! No matter where you sit, the atmosphere is warm & inviting. You'll truly enjoy it, whether you're on a date night or a family outing. Our favorite spots are upstairs & on the terraces, offering the perfect ambiance. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious-no complaints at all. The food is filling, flavorful, & perfectly suited to the setting. While the drinks aren't their strongest point, it's still absolutely worth it. I could go back again & again & never get tired of it!
One of the best pizza spot nice location but the customer service of the waitress should be improved. So I am rating only the food & location 5 Stars!
Nous avons passé une excellente soirée chez Il Fornetto. L'accueil était chaleureux, le service attentionné & la nourriture délicieuse. Les plats étaient savoureux, bien présentés, & l'ambiance agréable pour un souper détendu. Une belle adresse à découvrir !
Guylaine & Jasmine were absolutely the most welcoming & competent of servers. Even though the restaurant was very busy & the terrace was full, we were served as if we were the only ones. Fish well prepared, lots of crispy veggies. Eggplant appetizer is outstanding. Tiramisu made fresh every day. Price very reasonable. One of the nicest terraces on the Island of Montreal. It in has a first class view on the Lachine Canal. We will return often.

Mashallah! Great place to dine. Showed up with a five-person party without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon & got seated in less than 10 minutes. Waited by a very polite & courteous set of serving staff.
The food came in quickly & turned out to be amazing. It was very delicious & full of flavours.
The restaurant's ambiance was very pleasing. Calm, serene outdoor seating is available next to the canal. It is an excellent choice for first dates, group gatherings & Tinder dates.

We had an outstanding family meal at Il Fornetto. We were fortunate to have a table on the second floor in a lovely room with a fabulous view of the canal. The staff was, as has always been our experience, very friendly amd accommodating. Service was prompt & helpful in every way possible (as we were with 2 young boys). Our cocktails were perfect as was every part of our meal, from appetizers to mains. My grandsons loved their spaghetti bolognese & we all loved our calamari, salad, spaghetti puttanesca, linguini alle vongole & my veal piccata al limone were all delicious! We were too full for dessert but we will definitely try to save some room for it when we return. We have never had anything but a fantastic meal at Il Fornetto!
