The name depicts the maple wood burning oven where each and every one of our pizzas and roasted ingredients are cooked. I had a waiter that deliberately delayed my service, from getting my food to getting my bill. I stormed out of there in anger & didn't get his name. Everything else was perfect from the other staff & waiters smiling & greeting you to the food, I had number 77 & it was perfect & also I had a cheese cake, paid around 40$
Great food! Mom & I split a pizza & salad. They kindly split it before serving to us. Everyone was very kind. Sangria & cannoli was also good. Great spot!

Wait was long as they don't take reservations & you simply have to wait in a line outside. Food was tasty... I'd go back for more one day. Not very big inside & kind of crammed.
Best pizza & salad EVER!!! Authentic Italian food 👌 But disappointed of the delivery people....gave the guy tip & he was unsatisfied with the amount giving me attitude so from now on I am not giving any more tip at all since clearly they don't appreciate it. He had a very disgraceful & inconsiderate attitude.
Came to Pizza il Focolaio on a Friday afternoon. Upon entering, this establishment has 70+ different pizza options.. so you may feel slightly overwhelmed. As I do with every first time pizza I try at a new place, I ordered a margherita pizza. It was good, however nothing to go crazy about. I think if in Montreal, I would say there are probably better options but this was close to the hotel & wasn't that bad. 3.5/5 overall
Outstanding pizza! Outstanding vibe! When we arrived we had to line up & wait. Wait wasn't long & well worth the wait. Pizza was fantastic! Must eat here! When we left people were still lined up, I understand why!

This is my favorite Pizza restaurant. I try to eat here when I come to Montreal. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the pool chicken pizza. I will be back in the summer. It is a very busy spot but worth the wait.
Took the guys here last weekend & it was great. But of a lineup to get in but worth it There must be atleast 50 selections for pizzas & calzones Service was great & pizza were delicious Great casual place for great food
The pizza & the service are outstanding. It's a very busy pizza place but totally worth the wait. The server was so attentive he understood we wanted to share the pizza & he asked if we wanted ours half & half. Not sure why we didn't think that at first but it's adorable that the waiter cared that much!!! I'll definitely go back! Try the grilled veggies pizza! Exquisite!!!!
