Since 1984 clients have been coming to Il Focolaio to get that authentic Italian taste that is reminiscent of their grandmother’s cooking. Il Focolaio, in fact means fireplace in Italian. The name depicts the maple wood burning oven where each and every one of our pizzas and roasted ingredients are cooked. Our fireplace, as in the old country, not only brings forth the food but also becomes the gathering place for our clients who always feel welcomed and right at home. Our recipe for success is simple, serving up pizza using ingredients that only a true pizzaiolo would use, such as extra virgin olive oil, top quality tomatoes and only the freshest ingredients, all prepared with passion and a love for cooking to bring you the end result that you will never forget. Nous avons pris 3 pizzas à emporter. Serveuse adorable & attentionnée, service rapide & elles étaient toutes délicieuses.
Ils ont aussi une terrasse très mignonne.
Nous recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés.

Quand le serveur a pris notre commande, il nous a « remercié « avec sincérité! 🏆La pizza était excellente & le service rapide,très courtois. Je n'ai pas goûté aux salades mais elles semblaient délicieuses. L'espace entre les tables est restreint mais l'ambiance est chaleureuse. Je recommande vivement! Si vous arrivez plus tard que 17:30, faut peut-être mieux réserver.

Pizza insipide, grossière, chargée, aucun goût. Nous sommes trois à être unanimement très déçus. Rien d'une pizza italienne. Je ne comprends pas les avis qui mettent plus que 4. Service plutôt sympathique & rapide.

Excellente pizza, avec une pâte vraiment remarquable - bien cuite, savoureuse & parfaitement équilibrée. Le restaurant était très occupé, mais l'atmosphère demeure sans prétention & conviviale, ce qui contribue beaucoup au charme de l'endroit.

Le service était bon & efficace, surtout considérant l'action & l'achalandage constant dans le resto.

L'ambiance rappelle un peu les pizzerias de New York : animée, décontractée, & centrée sur l'essentiel - une bonne pizza bien faite. Une très bonne adresse à Square Phillips pour manger rapidement & bien, sans flafla.

Assez bruyant vous êtes de suite plongé dans l ambiance italienne / chacun sait ce qu il doit faire . C est une machine bien rodée . Les pizzas sont belles & succulentes . Le service est rapide & efficace tout en étant prévenant .
Petit budget pour deux pizzas avec un verre de vin & une bière 75 dollars .

Très bonnes pizzas cuites au feu de bois. Vous trouverez votre bonheur car ce ne sont pas moins que 77 variétés qui sont proposés.
Le service & rapide & très agréable

Ouvert depuis plus de 40 ans (1984). On y sert une vaste variété de délicieuses pizzas au four à bois. Presque toujours un line-up à la porte mais le roulement est rapide. Le service est aussi agréable & les serveurs multiethniques sont très souriants.
La clientèle inclus un bon nombre de touristes étrangers.
Sangria, bières en fût/bouteilles & vins.
Face au Square Philippe.
Parking payant dans la rue sinon métro McGill.
