We stumbled upon here after walking around outside in the snow. If you've been to the south of Spain & love the food, you will love this place! It felt like being in Spain. The food was so flavorful & delicious. Get the Brussels sprouts, they're delicious!!! We ordered two. 10/10!!! I will Most definitely be back here.
We came here by mistake but what a GREAT MISTAKE it was! Everything on the menu was amazing!!!! From the toast w tomat, Brussel sprout salad , Benedict arepa to the wine!!! Amazing! Waiters were amazing as well you feel you're in Spain. 10/10
My first experience at iberico's was wonderful. The service was great by Allison , food was just like how it is in Spain. We are gonna come here often .I had a good time with my family here.
You feel like in a tavern in Spain. The food is amazing & the service pretty good. Definitely recommend it for a bit of taste of the Spanish food. Definitely recommend the Paella, & the croquetas are incredible.
The price is even higher than touristic places in the city, & the tapas are smaller portions than in Spain, the paella is good but also less than expected.
This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious. Even better than some of the restaurants in Spain. The service is excellent. Highly recommended.
Food is definitely decent, but the service was awful & ruined our evening. After we finished our main, they offered us dessert & we said we'd like to finish our bottle of wine first. We did finish 10 minutes later (they did not pour it for us). Then it took 30 minutes to get the attention of anyone & even then only by really blatantly flagging them down. There were 5 waiters/bar staff all just shooting the shit together, not even looking up. We were pretty frustrated. Then when we ordered dessert, they said'the kitchen's closed'. They were not apologetic.
They brought the bill to my wife while I was in the bathroom & she felt obliged to pay the minimum 18% tip. I complained to the waiter who said it was our fault because we asked to have time to finish our bottle of wine.
This would never have happened in Spain...
Over the past couple years, I have spent a total of six months living in Spain, & this food teleported me back right to a little outdoor patio off La Rambla in Barcelona. It encompassed what makes Spanish so incredible: clean flavors & fresh quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The patatas bravas were both unique & authentic & would hold their own at any local cafe in Spain, with the right amount of crunch & a balance of flavors between the spice & mildness of the two sauces. The pan con tomate on traditional Catalan coca bread was just perfect. I don't normally leave reviews on here, but this place deserves to have five stars & all the love. Thank you for giving us a little piece of Spain in Montreal, between the incredible tapas & cozy vibes, & even down to the minute details, like serving Vichy water & carajillos.
Delicious food. In the summer, they have a great terrace. The Paella is super delicious - & we have been to spain many times. Service was good & drink were also refreshing. The Sangria was good. Padron peppers were delicious. Nice service! Really recommend this place if you're looking for Spanish food & definitely get the Paella.
Went to Restaurant Iberico for supper on Saturday. We arrived a few minutes early & were told quite brusquely that we could not wait in the restaurant & asked to leave. Once we returned, we were shown to a table by a rather arrogant waiter. We proceeded to order several tapas tapas -croquetas, charcuterie board, calamari, pan tomate & patatas bravas. The food was quite pedestrian-none of the freshness, flair & flavours found in Spain. After a substantial bill, we left disappointed. Recommend patronizing other, better Spanish restos in Montreal. Overpriced & overbearing.
Ibéricos is a gem in Montreal! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the authentic Spanish décor, it feels like a trip to Spain. The tapas are incredible-especially the jamón croquettes & the pulpo a la gallega. Everything is fresh & full of flavor. The wine list is fantastic, featuring great Spanish selections, & the staff is knowledgeable & friendly. Don't miss the crema catalana for dessert-it's the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal. Can't wait to return!
Great paella & tapas, authentic & comparable to good restaurants we tried in spain
Authentic Spanish food!! This was a great place to celebrate my birthday with my family as we have been to Spain multiple times. Our waiter Alvaro was wonderful & gave good recommendations! I will definitely come back. Also my mom is a dork.
We were transported back to Barcelona with the sumptuous series of Tapas dishes... Absolutely worth a visit if you like Spanish cuisine! Friendly staff & FYI the chef studied under Michelin-starred chefs in Spain so you are getting an authentic, exciting culinary experience.
