Great place for kbbq, the meat quality is really good, & the service is impeccable. Chang made our experience so much fuller, always predicted what we needed & recommended us the Lytchi Soju, which we enjoyed a lot. Definitely coming back!
The meat is high quality, but the kimchi, side dishes, & sauces are nothing special. There aren't many side dishes, & the stir-fried, grilled, & fried items on the menu are not particularly unique or appealing. For around $50, there are many other places that offer better value, often with sushi included as well. Aside from a few quality cuts of meat, this restaurant doesn't really have anything that would make customers want to come back repeatedly.

Good food, Don gave us a good service too. The only disappointment was that some of the cuts were 80% fat. Other than that the sides & meats were good!

Overpriced, the kimchi is so salty, the lettuce were dirty, the meat is average. We waited like 15-20mins to finally got our orders.

They are not just'good onions'; they are the kind of onions that make you pause mid-conversation & point at the plate saying,'Wait… why are these THIS good?' They somehow become buttery without being butter, sweet without being sugary, smoky without tasting burnt, & addictive to the point where you start stealing everyone else's portions when they aren't looking. At Hwaro, the onions are no longer a side dish; they are a spiritual experience disguised as garnish, the unsung heroes of the grill, the golden rings of transcendence that make you question whether every onion you've eaten before this moment was merely pretending to be an onion.
