The meat is incredibly fresh, & I especially loved the thinly sliced pork belly beef-it was so tender & juicy! The owner's signature cocktails are absolutely delicious, & she's quite attractive too. I ordered a Yuzu Sake, which was sweet & tangy, perfect for cutting through the richness of grilled meat. The food here truly delivers authentic Korean BBQ flavors. By the way, their Sauce Maison is an absolute must-have for dipping grilled meats-excellent! The restaurant features a three-sided TV wall constantly playing music videos from various K-pop bands. Eating meat & drinking while watching the guys' energetic performances adds such a vibrant atmosphere.
It is a beautiful restaurant with great service. Using a tablet to order is a great idea & I'm glad to see it implemented. Unfortunately, the 50$ is excessive, since there wasn't much on the menu to justify such a high entry fee. It was a very typical menu for KBBQ. The menu doesn't have that many choices. Most options are just a variation of sauce/seasoning, but it's the same meet. Seeing chicken nuggets & fries kinda threw me off guard.
Leaving with a 64$ bill (including tip & taxes) seems a little bit much.
The meat is high quality, but the kimchi, side dishes, & sauces are nothing special. There aren't many side dishes, & the stir-fried, grilled, & fried items on the menu are not particularly unique or appealing. For around $50, there are many other places that offer better value, often with sushi included as well. Aside from a few quality cuts of meat, this restaurant doesn't really have anything that would make customers want to come back repeatedly.
Tried the chicken bibimbap today & it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked-tender, flavorful, & coated in a rich, slightly spicy sauce. The vegetables were fresh & crisp, adding great texture, & everything mixed together so well with the rice.
The portion size was generous, & the balance of flavors was spot on. Paired it with a cold lychee-flavored soju, which added a light, sweet touch & complemented the dish really well. The atmosphere was bright & relaxing, especially with the window view.
Definitely a place I'd come back to. Highly recommend if you're craving a satisfying & flavorful Korean dish.
Food quality amazing, very flavorful with lots of sauces & veggies! The ice cream is also very good! The staff are very friendly & often check up on us.
I loved the food especially the beef. The sauce maison is delicious & the ice cream to die for. The ambiance was wonderful & the servers were very kind & eager to help.
All in all, I definitely recommend & will come back again
First Korean BBQ restaurant in Laval. I was not disapponted. Even though it's not authentic Korean, it's a great place for a fun evening. Nice vibe. Maximum seating is for 6 people so it's problematic if you are a bigger group. The choice of meat is incredible. So many choices. However, I would have liked small pork belly pieces which they didn't have. They don't have ssamjang to enhance the meat either. They have weird sauces (house sauce, sweet soy sauce) instead. They don't have enough variety of side dishes. However, their fried wontons were delicious & they had so much fresh lettuce which was amazing because most restaurants are cheap on lettuce. Service was great at the beginning but it deteriorated at the end. They kept losing & mixing our orders. For dessert, sadly, there was just soft vanilla ice cream with a choice of strawberry or chocolate syrup. Parking is a bit difficult. The underground parking is often full. Also, reservation is a must on weekends. In all, it was a nice experience.
