Une grande déception. Nous sommes des habitués des restos coréens partout dans le monde. D'abord, un menu sur tablette sans aucune convivialité & qui nous indique qu'il nous reste 103 minutes avant de quitter une fois le menu expliqué. La formule se veut coréenne, mais pas la nourriture. La formule à volonté à 50 $/personne est faite pour les affamés, mais par pour les connaisseurs. Un choix à la carte vous enverra au comptoir pour manger car les tables sont faites pour le menu à volonté. La viande trop grasse; les fritures insignifiantes; les sauces qui font défaut (seulement 2). & que dire d'une «taxe» de 10 $ pour ceux qui auraient laissé de la nourriture non entamée. Par chance, notre serveuse était amicale & enthousiaste. Je l'ai dit : une grande déception.

It is a beautiful restaurant with great service. Using a tablet to order is a great idea & I'm glad to see it implemented. Unfortunately, the 50$ is excessive, since there wasn't much on the menu to justify such a high entry fee. It was a very typical menu for KBBQ. The menu doesn't have that many choices. Most options are just a variation of sauce/seasoning, but it's the same meet. Seeing chicken nuggets & fries kinda threw me off guard.
Leaving with a 64$ bill (including tip & taxes) seems a little bit much.

New bbq Coréen in Laval. I think one of the first one in Laval. Compared to other BBQ place, the ventilation isn't directly above the grill which make it a more open place. But we were 3 table & sometime, we could see the big cloud in the place. I would be afraid to see when it's full.

The service was fast, but again we were only 3 tables.

As for the food. The food was good, specially for a bbq place. Everything is ordered from a tablet with picture that do ressemble the good you get. This help to order the food you want.

There is beef, chicken, porc, I think I also saw veal, fish, veggies, fried food like onion ring & general tao chicken, 2 soup & desserts. While there's many, I feel it was missing something I had at other places but I can't point my finger on it.

The chicken option ressemble more as string of chicken & not slices of chunk of chicken. We ordered once 2 type & we never ordered again. Wasn't very good, felt plastic & chewy.

There's many drink option. Soft drink are 3$ with free refill.

When you grill, sooner or later it will be sticky so you can request a plate change. There's even a button on the tablet to request service.

If you used the underground parking, do bring your ticket with you. It will be validated at the exit & you have 3 hours free parking (count at the time you got the ticket) .

Pricing is 50$/person for adult. You can reserve online or simply walk to it.

Came during the week so it wasn't super busy, alot of meat/sides options (all very good). Service & vibe is are very nice!

Our first experience at Hwaro was absolutely splendid! I chose to celebrate my birthday there with my friends, & it couldn't have been a better choice.

A special shoutout to our server, Veron (or Veronique-I hope I got the name right!), who was incredibly friendly, attentive, & helpful. They took the time to explain how the ordering system worked & even gave us a heads-up about the ordering time limit, which we really appreciated.

What stood out the most was that, despite the time limit, we never felt rushed. Unlike some other Korean BBQ restaurants where the staff constantly remind you to hurry, the team at Hwaro allowed us to enjoy our food & conversation at a comfortable pace while still providing excellent service.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, & the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making my birthday celebration such a memorable one-we'll definitely be back!

Bien aimer, on nous a donné 2:00 heures pour manger & au moment de s'asseoir le compteur étais a 1:30 de temp restant, un peut stressant surtout que l'on va au resto pour relaxer. J'y retournerai, c'était quand même bon mais pas a volonté, le boeuf est restreint, ne peut pas commander plus de 4 fois 4 petite tranche mince & crevette aussi. Pour moi à volonté c'est tout a volonté. Si tu ne mange pas de fruit de mer tu est restreint.
