Houston Avenue Bar & Grill est une halte agréable dans l'aéroport, avec des portions généreuses et des plats variés qui plaisent, des tacos de crevettes aux burgers, et un service rapide et attentionné qui donne une impression conviviale; l'ambiance et le cadre sont agréables et le bar complète bien l'expérience, avec des boissons appréciées et une valeur raisonnable pour un repas rapide avant le vol.
Pricing is the only down side. $29 for a burger. Service is great at the bar, flavor is good. but the food portion does not match the price. Probably should eat before getting to the airport whenever possible
Even accounting for the fact that this is airport food, it's quite mixed. I'm not convinced there isn't a better option in Terminal C. The burger was good but $30! & the nachos would have been fine but the chips were stale. Food took 25min to arrive (which, in fairness, we were warned about by the host). In the end we paid $100 for meal+tip for a burger, a beer, & some stale nachos.

The food are very decent, I had the Texan burger. However, I'm more impressed with the service. I forgot my phone in the restaurant & the staff / manager quickly help bring it to Lost & Found.
A decent sit down airport restaurant. Food is good. I ordered the Houston burger with fries. The flavours were fine, nothing life changing but not disappointing. As far as airports go, it's fairly priced I think since everything past the gate is overpriced.
Service was quick & kind enough. I'd eat here alone again if I have some time to waste.

Typically, I avoid dining at airport restaurants, but due to a canceled flight, I found myself needing a place to eat. Thankfully, I stumbled upon a decent spot that served good food. Though the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food made up for it. I ordered the chicken wings & a grilled burger. Unfortunately, I missed the breakfast menu, which ends at 10 AM, so I chose from the lunch options instead. The food tasted good overall. The chicken wings were a bit dry, but the flavor was decent. The grilled burger was satisfying. I also tried their lemonade, which was just okay. What really stood out was the service. The waitstaff was wonderful-punctual & attentive, which made the experience much more enjoyable.
Just ate here after our flight from Madrid. This is the best airport food I've had in recent memory. The French onion soup, popcorn shrimp appetizer, & the Houston Burger are all "must-haves" along with the sweet potato fries. The chicken & fish tacos were good too. Roberto took great care of us! Outstanding service with a smile. Thank you.

Grilled chicken burger cold w fishy taste Heineken on tap luke warm. Sweet potato fries , excellent. Wife's bacon burger very good . No charge for chicken burger.
The staff were attentive & friendly. The front staff was upfront to say that I need to have at least 20-45 minutes before boarding. I told him I had at least 4 hours. The wait staff was friendly & always smiling, hence I gave her tip. We don't have tipping culture in Australia as employers are required to pay good rates to their employees. The food itself, however, was a disappointment. The burger was dry, not juicy. The chips were a thin & not crunchy. I find paying Cdn$27 is not commensurate to the quality of cooking.
I've been to Houston in the city & always liked them so choose this one for a pre flight meal. Burger was way over cooked, if I had cooked a burger like that for a guest at my home I'd have been embarrassed or thrown it out. Service was just OK, some polite & the food service kind of rough. Not sure I'd go back to that Houston again.
Any airport restaurant that serves fresh, tasty meals with pleasant service deserves 5 stars. & this one certainly does. Enjoyed the Houston burger & frites. Hot & delicious. Highly recommend this C concourse location.
My wife thought the poutine was OK. Her iced tea tasted funny
Like it was an old batch.The Houston burger was underwhelming at over $25. I had to search for the grilled onions. Found 4 strands. Hardly no bbq sause. It was so dry I took one of the buns off & still did not finish it. Service was pretty good. VERY expensive place. Would not come back.
