Review Summary

Homers Boîte à Beignes is widely celebrated for its large, fresh, and visually appealing donuts that come in a creative variety of flavors, ranging from classic styles to unique options like pizza-inspired treats and savory sandwiches. Many visitors praise the fluffy, moist texture of the dough and the generous portion sizes, often highlighting the friendly staff and the fun, nostalgic atmosphere complete with free retro arcade games. While the vast majority of guests have a fantastic experience and consider the shop a must-visit destination in Montreal, some note that the seating area can feel small or cramped and occasionally report inconsistencies regarding freshness or cleanliness. Overall, it is regarded as a popular and affordable spot for those looking to satisfy a serious sugar craving in a lively, themed environment.

On ne penserais pas qu'un beigne a la pizza & au miel fonctionnerait mais c'était très bon ! & moelleux ! On a aussi goûter au classique, très bon tout le monde ont adorer ! Le service était très bon ! On y retournera !

Pizza donuts, cartoons, & arcades. Fun concept.

Stumbled on this place hunting for late night sweets. The shop looked pretty cool. One side dedicated entirely to retro gaming machines, & people were actually using them.

The regular donut section looked standard. Frosted, glazed, the usual Boston cream. But they had pizza donuts. You pick a topping & sauce combo from about eight flavors, & my friend & I got the pistachio pesto along with two of the flavored donuts (the Homer Donut & a cookies & cream).

The regular donuts were solid. Soft base, nice chew. But the pizza donut was a nice surprise. I'd heard about this trend a few years back & wasn't sold on it, but once the donut went back in the oven for a few minutes with the sauce & toppings, it turned incredibly pillowy. I usually want a more rigid carb base under savory toppings like these, but this worked. Kind of like a reheated savory croissant, except better.
