Hoai Huong is me, my family & my friends' favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal. Talking about authenticity, personally, I do love the food & would say that it's 85% authentic to what you can get when travelling to Vietnam, which is really high cause we're talking about Northeastern-America ingredients. I strongly recommend Salade vietnamienne (porc & crevettes) for appetizer & no-soup plates like the ones I've included, or even other rice dishes. We've come here many many times, the quality remains the same over years, the owner is kind & friendly (he speaks lotsss languages too, impressive!).View more

Food quality is consistent. Prices are a bit high. Too much MSG used in food. Staff is usually nice but may sometimes be rude. If staff poorly explains something or does not bring you the right order, do not hesitate to firmly stand your ground.View more

Authentic Vietnamese neighbourhood restaurant. They have been around forever so they know how to do it. Consistent & dependable. Lots of menu items you don't find elsewhere. Plus easy street parking. It can get quite busy, so reserve if you can.View more

Been coming here for years & it's fantastic, quick & friendly service, delicious Pho & Imperial Rolls & the Pad Thai is seriously one of the best I've had, deliciously seasoned.
Parking is usually pretty decent & they have a ramp for wheelchair access although the restaurant itself is pretty tight, could potentially be an issue for people with reduced mobility.View more

Super nice, friendly staff, well trained for allergies. My coeliac wife had a delicious Tonkinoise soup, & I had one of the best Pad Thai I've had. There were no reactions at all, & everything was on point. Will come back for sure Also took gluten friendly Tonkinoise soup (beef & chicken) for takeout, & we even got gluten-free certified sauces.View more

My friend & I ate here on Sunday night. The food was excellent, staff was accommodating & gave recommendations for someone who had never eaten Vietnamese food before. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. However, the Terrace, although small, is wheelchair accessible. If you like Vietnamese food & a casual atmosphere or you want to try it for the first time, I highly recommend this restaurant.View more
