2026: new cocktail menu is even better, had the tuna & salmon oshizushi plates & they were great. Magutsuchi was a fun cocktail. Our server was excellent this time.
2025: Had a great selection of cocktails. Nice decor & vibe. We came here because another place had a lineup. This wasn't too busy so easy to talk as a group of 4.
Service was efficient but I feel like our waitress wasn't particularly welcoming.

Magnifique soirée au Hiba!

La sélection de saké de la sommelière m'a fait découvrir le meilleur saké que j'ai pu déguster. Les cocktails étaient tous tellement créatifs. La nourriture délicieuse (carpaccio de boeuf !!)

L'ambiance était parfaite, la musique agréable & pas trop forte.

It's been a while since I've had good bluefin tuna in Montréal, & Hiba really surprised me. The fried chicken is juicy, the dumplings come with a whole tiger shrimp inside, & there's even vegan sushi on the menu. The drink selection is great too - from sake to cocktails with a real Japanese flair. Prices are very reasonable, making it a perfect new spot to grab a drink & enjoy some quality bites.

Had a great time at Lounge H3 for their 5@7 - the half-off glass of wine deal was perfect, & I was impressed by their selection. It's clear they put thought into curating a nice variety. We also tried the dumplings, & they were absolutely delicious - highly recommend!

Although we stuck to wine this time, we chatted with the bartender who's behind their cocktail list, & his passion & skill really stood out. He seemed genuinely proud of his creations, which makes me excited to come back for a cocktail night soon.
