HELM (which is an acronym for Houblon (Hops), Eau (Water), Levure (Yeast) & Malt) is an unpretentious brew-pub which promotes quality and local products in an urban setting. Aside from the in-house brewed beer, we also offer a wide selection of Quebec cider and American wines. We also offer a simple cuisine featuring fresh ingredients. Food was good, but the service is terrible. I tried to ask just for mayo when the server brought me food but she completely ignored me & left. I tried to ask again Nd told me to wait & never came back. No one is doing eye contact or checking if you need anything. I had to get up & ask one of the people at the bar & even then, just getting a tiny cup of mayo took another 20 minutes. But the food was good.

The atmosphere is quite good, & certainly, I have no grumbles with our server. She was very pleasant. Sadly, our fries were slightly burned, but the biggest negative was the men's toilets, which were very smelly!

Service exceptionnel par Justine, la meilleure serveuse sur tout Montréal! Toujours enjouée, souriante & de bonne humeur, elle saura vous recommander les meilleurs bières du bar.

Sans oublier le trio de l’enfer les lundis, Kevin, Erik & Nick qui anime le bar comme des dieux venus directement du panthéon

Très belle endroit surtout l'intérieur avec ambiance très reposant & bien disposer ... la terrasse avant par contre proche de la route & quasiment dans la zone a vélo... si par erreur vous super votre bras en dehors de la terrasse bois risqué d'accrocher une personne a vélo .. mais en dehors des heures de trafic c'est très bien & calme. Pour l'alimentation, très bien, bonne portion & très bonne au goût. Mais la cuisine ouverte seulement à 17h00 alors tout ce qui est manger ou boucher on oublie avant 17h00, ce qui aurait été bien c'est d'avoir des croustilles, cachou, popcorn, bretzel, ou autres avec la bière, toujours bon du sallé avec une bonne froide. En tout cas si il en avait on nous lès a pas offert. Pour ce qui est de la bière très bon choix & très bonne aussi, même les mélange suggérés était très de mise. La bière du moment une sûrête était très bonne En général très belle place à aller même seul, le bar les tables & autres palier de la place lui font un cachet unique, surtout les chaises fauteuils, il te font sentir comme le roi & la reine de la place avec vue global de l'intérieur & aussi de la rue, de best. On peut aussi acheter de la bière sur la place. Je peux vous dire que nous allons sûrement retourner cet hiver pour votre plus l'ambiance intérieure & profiter de la bouffe. Je ne sais pas si le menu est saisonnier & aussi je ne savais pas s'il avait des spécialités pour le temps des fêtes. Merci & ALP
