HELM (which is an acronym for Houblon (Hops), Eau (Water), Levure (Yeast) & Malt) is an unpretentious brew-pub which promotes quality and local products in an urban setting. Globalement, bonne expérience. Par contre, petites portions & tres graisseux. Point positif, à deux secondes du théâtre rialto. Par contre, PAS DE STATIONNEMENT (mais ca le resto ne peut rien y changer !) petite terrasse, pas accessible & drôle d'ambiance.

Great selection of beers & great atmosphere. Very friendly staff & explained the beer choices very well. We tried many of their beers; La crème Du mile end(light but must try) & Koala were our favourites.
Mon conjoint a célébré sa fête ici & la soirée a été parfaite. Bières délicieuses, plats savoureux, musique & ambiance au top. Mais le vrai coup de coeur, ce furent les serveuses, Salomé & Éloane.
Elles ont été incroyablement attentionnées, veillant à chaque détail avec soin. Accueillantes, souriantes & professionnelles, elles ont vraiment contribué à rendre la soirée spéciale. Grâce à elles, tout s'est déroulé sans accroc & dans la bonne humeur.
Un grand merci à Salomé & Éloane! Elles sont le vrai atout de ce lieu !

Trois étoiles car l'établissement a le mérite de proposer des bonnes bières pas très chères.
Sinon en ce qui concerne le service j'ai même pas envie d'en parler.
C'est tellement frustrant d'attendre une bière 1h.
C'est encore plus frustrant quand il n'y a personne dans le bar.
Mais le summum c'est que des gens qui arrivent après nous sont servis bien avant nous.
Pour finir quand même sur un bon point ils mettent de la bonne musique.
The beers were delicious, but the nachos were very disappointing despite being named after the bar. They were cold when we got them, soggy on the bottom, & looked thrown together haphazardly. Whole cilantro stems, some nachos without any toppings, & others buried under a sea of raw tomato & corn. Fine for 5$, not for 22$.
Service was average, atmosphere bustling & pleasant. Decent, but I don't think this is the five star experience everyone raves about. Maybe we got unlucky with food last night.

Une belle place pour prendre une bière entre amis après l'escalade chez Allez Up Mile end!! Nos serveuse étaient les plus souriantes & attentives! (Éloane,Salomé & Isi) Les frites aussi.. par Will .. de la bombe !!!!
I've come here numerous times & every time I have received EXCELLENT service especially from Éloane & Isi! Big Props to Will the chef for being a beast as well. Il be continuing to come & drink & bring my friends :)))
Helm is such a vibe! The drinks are top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, & the service is consistently great. I went on a night they were hosting free bingo, & it was way more fun than I expected - super interactive & had the whole bar laughing & cheering.
It's the kind of place where you can chill with friends, enjoy quality drinks, & still get a little surprise fun like bingo. Definitely coming back - Helm nails it every time!
Atmosphere was great, awesome beers & the food was really great. Service was on point despite a busy night. I do recommend booking a table to be sure they have place.
