About us

HELM (which is an acronym for Houblon (Hops), Eau (Water), Levure (Yeast) & Malt) is an unpretentious brew-pub which promotes quality and local products in an urban setting. Aside from the in-house brewed beer, we also offer a wide selection of Quebec cider and American wines. We also offer a simple cuisine featuring fresh ingredients. Its decor, both rough and refined, its big, central bar, the lights are what makes HELM a friendly place, perfect for discussing and meeting with friends.

Bon endroit pour un bon nurger & une pinte de bière entre amis. Bonne ambiance, serveurs cools. La carte est bien fournie & ils changent souvent leurs bières artisanales.
A découvrir.
Update : tous les mercredis de cet hiver 2023, il y a des huîtres de L'Île du Prince Édouard... Délicieuses!

Service était lent. Nous sommes arrivés & il y avait peu de gens, le délai pour obtenir nos bières a été long. Ensuite il y a eu achalandage & le serveur était aussi relaxe dans le service.

I'm so glad I discovered this place, I'm absolutely in love with it. The beer is PHENOMENAL. Best brews in Montreal I've ever had & it's not even close. Also great vibe, great art, just all around a treasure of a place.

C'était ma première fois au Helm. J'étais avec quelques amues!! Very nice place! On a aimé l'ambiance, la bière, la nourriture. Tout s'est bien passé sauf la musique que nous avons eu la sensation qu'était un peu fort !
