They're were 3 choices for business business menu here on this Thursday. I asked the waiter if the grilled sardines are from frozen or fresh stock & he didn't give an answer. So I concluded that they must be frozen.
The pire pire chicken did have a good taste but not completely cooked, probably because they had not been at room temperature when put in the oven. We decided to go to another place to have our dessert.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed & taken care of. Sarah our waitress showed a seat to the perfect spot at the bar, she also made excellent recommendations. From the beginning we trusted her recommendations from cocktails, wine & menu, they were spot on. The entire staff were warm engaging & hilarious. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent at Helena's.

What an incredible experience at Helena! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed.

Our waitress, Sarah, was absolutely outstanding. It's hard to believe she's only been there for a month because she handled everything with such confidence, professionalism, & warmth. She seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask, & her friendly personality made our evening so much fun. We truly hope she's still there when we return to Montreal next year!

I'd also like to recognize the entire team. A special thank you to Gaston, Robert, & one of the owners, who took the time to introduce himself & made us feel like valued guests. & a huge shout-out to everyone working on the kitchen line. Every dish was beautifully prepared, & you could tell there is real pride & teamwork behind this restaurant.

Wonderful food, exceptional hospitality, & an unforgettable evening. Helena was one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal, & we can't wait to come back.

My family & I had an incredible experience at Helena. The Portuguese food was amongst the best we've ever had! Elevated yet true to the traditional preparation & flavors. We loved the Caldo Verde, the Bacalhau a Gomes-sa & petiscos were all fantastic. One thing we've never had before was the choriço butter - amazing!

Here is my review about this place

1- Decoration 10/10 very nice place with space & modern with a touch of Portuguese vibe.

2- Ambiance 9/10 very nice ambiance not to loud.. good for party of 4 or 6 of for a romantic date. I don't think it's ideal for big party birthday more intimate.

3- food 10/10 very good food & taste. If your a fan of Portuguese this is the place to go. Mediterranean food & healthy.

4- Service 9/10 the service was very goid all of them knew there menu , the only thing is it was a bit confusing wich was our waiter/waitress.

5- cleanest 10/10 now this place was spotless even the restroom was clean & had scoop to rinse your mouth if you wanted.
