Pour mon anniversaire, nous avons formé un petit groupe de 17 personnes & j'ai choisi le restaurant portugais Helena.
Nous avons été agréablement surpris : le restaurant est magnifique, décoré avec goût. Absolument rien à redire sur la nourriture, tout était parfait ! & que dire de la gentillesse du personnel ? Juste wow, le meilleur service que nous ayons eu ! D'habitude, lorsque nous sortons en groupe, nous avons une limite de deux heures pour manger, mais cette fois-ci, nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis pressés de partir, bien au contraire.
Nous sommes de vrais foodies, & il est rare qu'un restaurant réussisse à satisfaire tout le groupe, mais Helena a relevé le défi haut la main ! Une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin.
Un grand merci au personnel pour avoir fait de cet anniversaire une soirée mémorable. Une note parfaite !
En tête à tête, nous avons pris le repas dégustation. Bonne nourriture raffinée & service exceptionnel. Un vrai voyage au Portugal! Merci pour ce magnifique moment.
My dining experience was truly amazing. We visited for dinner, & every aspect exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh & incredibly tasty, & the sides were fantastic. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!
Tout était parfait, plus que merveilleux. Nous avons pris l'assiette de fruits de mer pour deux personnes, c'était succulent ! la purée de patates douces avait un petit goût de caramel brûlé qui était sublime. Les fruits de mers étaient exquis & la sauce épicée à point. Une paradis pour les papilles. Les pasteis de nata étaient servies chaudes…meilleures qu'au Portugal! Notre serveur Vincent était super sympathique & très efficace, & toute l'équipe était attentionnée & très professionnelle. Nous avons passé une soirée exceptionnelle grâce à cette équipe merveilleuse & talentueuse. Merci Helena.

Très bon endroit pour le poisson & les desserts, je n'ai pas encore essayé les viandes, mais elles m'ont semblé savoureuses. Allez-y & faites-vous votre propre idée!
I had an incredible experience at Helena. The service was impeccable & the food was amazing. Every single dish was a highlight of the night. I started with some tapas as recommended by the server & finished with a whole sea bream. This definitely felt like a night at a restaurant in Portugal that happens to be located in Montreal.
Great place with excellent food. David, Dennis, son Daniel & Helena always treat us exceptionally well. It an expensive evening going there but we always find the time & ressources to visit for an exceptional meal & experience.

It was a business lunch & everything was perfect. The food, service. Just a little too loud for my taste. But besides that, nothing to complain about. Thanks
La qualité des plats est excellente avec des portions de bonne taille. Le service aurait pu être plus distingué dans les explications par rapport au menu/ la provenance des aliments/ les choix de vins mais il y avait une belle attention au déroulement & le rythme des plats.
We tagged along with a friend & his wife, who are regulars at this highly acclaimed fine-dining Portuguese eatery. The decor features modern elements & classic Portuguese charm; I was particularly captivated by the stunning ceiling. My friend's wife gave "carte blanche" to the waiter to bring a selection of dishes for us to share, & he brought a few items from the Tapas Quentes: Pasteis de Bacalhau, Sardinhas Assadas, & Lulas Grelhadas. The sommelier paired a privately imported white wine with these tapas, a perfect match. Then, we were served Sela de Borrego along with the catch of the day, accompanied by another bottle of white wine harmoniously paired. Though I'm usually not a fan of white wine, I found myself thoroughly enjoying it, I drank my share & my wife's share. While some nice desserts were offered, I was too satiated to have any. Just before we left, a waitress came with a complimentary Porto. I surely found room for that. The service was top-notch, with multiple servers attending to our table, & the food was phenomenal. The bill was quite steep at the end of the night, but it was one of the most memorable meals we've had in a long time.
Très bon restaurant. Les plats portugais sont vrais. Les croquettes, les pasteis de nata....excellents ! 3 salles dans le restaurant, ce qui en fait un grand restaurant mais avec une parcellisation permettant des coins & recoins plus intimistes. Je recommande!
