Harbin Dumplings stands out as one of the top dumpling spots in Montreal, with soup dumplings praised for a rich broth and thin wrapper and favorites like pork and kimchi dumplings and xiao long bao, along with solid homemade noodles as an alternative. The menu offers a good mix of options including vegetarian choices, and reviewers note the prices are fair for the quality and the portions are satisfying. The ambiance is repeatedly described as cozy and welcoming, and service is often highlighted as friendly and efficient, with many calling it a family run gem. A few reviewers mention a door slamming shut during meals and occasional noise that can dampen the atmosphere, and a couple note a little more flavor could elevate certain dishes. Taken together, Harbin Dumplings comes across as a beloved, affordable go to for dumpling lovers in Montreal, delivering consistency, variety, and a positive takeout or dine-in experience.
This is probably my favourite soup dumpling place in mtl! Been here 3 times already & am planning to recommend this place to other friends just so I can have a reason to go again 😆💕
Ive been eating here for years now & i can say that it's the best dumpling place in mtl. The food is really great at a good price & the service is excellent. If you would like to try something different than the dumplings, you can try the homemade noodle as an alternative.
On a commandé les soup dumpling au porc & ciboulette, les dumpling au boeuf & oignon & les nouilles aux légumes & tout était délicieux!!! Les nouilles manquaient un peu de saveur, mais c'est le seul « négatif »
