We came in based on the decent Google reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the hype. While the staff were gracious enough to seat our party of four by the window as requested, the rest of the evening was a letdown.
The food was mediocre at best. While the fried fish appetizer was good, the beef & broccoli with fried rice was completely passable & lacked any real flavor. The atmosphere also felt a bit disorganized; there was a party room on the other side that made the main dining area feel chaotic. To make matters worse, the chairs were uncomfortable & the tables were wobbly.
Service was confusing staff weren't in uniform, so it was hard to tell who actually worked there. When our food arrived, the server didn't even know what the dishes were, essentially telling us'whatever you ordered is this.' Having to walk to the back of the restaurant to pay at the end felt more like a fast-food joint than a proper restaurant. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Went yesterday with a huge family gathering. They accommodated us with great service, specially elders & kids. Every dish has a unique flavour, I dont know why it does not have a 5 star rating yet. Food is 10/10. Beef mongolian & chili chicken were a favourite.

The dynamite shrimp were amazing! I went with my family, & everyone loved the food. It's not the typical Toronto-style Hakka, but the recipes they use are really delicious. The Mongolian beef, genral tso, honey wings, & dynamite shrimp were especially standout dishes. Everything was just perfect. Best food ever had.

- Korean Chicken with Fried Rice 🍝 8.5/10
- Dessert 🍮 7.5/10 ( Ruby & Chocolate Mousse Cake)
Overall, if you are looking for Halal Asian fusion food, this is the place for you. Also the place is kid & family friendly. Great ambiance & lighting. The servers were super polite & friendly. They served our food super fast & kept checking on us if we need anything. Highly Highly recommend!!
We had a really amazing time at Hakka Grill last night. The food was really good & delicious. We got the General Tso Chicken, Mongolian beef, & chicken chow mein. Admittedly, it was alot of food for two people, but we took it home & it was even better the next day. I definitely recommend this place!
Good pakistani style chinese spot. Ordered chilli beef, it was good but a little too spicy for pakistani taste as well. The mocktails are really bad, need not be ordered. The appetizers were however really good. However the place is overpriced for the food & the 15% additional charge on 6+ groups doesnt make sense!

Absolutely loved our experience at Hakka Grill for lunch today. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, Chefs special Chowmein, General Tso & Mongolian Beef. Both the mains came with fried rice.
The food came super quick & fresh. The standout for me was definitely the chowmein & the chicken.
The service was outstanding! They even helped us celebrate our friends birthday with some cake.
Overall, loved the experience & so happy to have our very own halal Hakka in Montreal finally. Will be returning soon.
The restaurant is clean & well-maintained, & the food is very flavorful. I ordered the chili chicken, Mongolian beef, & dynamite shrimp everything was top-notch, definitely a 5-star experience. we will come back inshallah
Amazing food & the service was awesome, very clean food & the portions are very generous. My food came in just 9 mins & it was really fresh. Mongolian beef & chili chicken must try, highly recommended. Best customer service.

We ordered the chicken bites, the dynamite shrimp, the chow mein with beef, the chili chicken, & the Mongolian beef. Everything was good, but the dynamite shrimp & the beef chow mein were definitely the stars of the meal. The meat was tender, the flavor was incredible, & both dishes really stood out.
The service was also amazing , super fast, attentive, & the food came out hot & fresh. Overall, a great experience & definitely worth trying!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hakka Grill Halal Chinese Restaurant! The food is bursting with flavour, perfectly seasoned, & cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted fresh & authentic.
The service was impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, & made us feel so welcome. They really go above & beyond to ensure a great dining experience.
I ordered the chili beef, chili chicken & shrimp chow mein, all single portions. There are full portions too!
If you're looking for delicious halal Chinese food with amazing service, this is the spot! Highly recommend & definitely coming back again.

After seeing all the hype on Instagram, I decided to finally give this place a try & ordered through UberEats. I got the Dynamite Shrimp, which tasted good but the sauce was way too watery. I also tried the General Tao Chicken - not bad, but overly sweet. By the fourth bite I already had heartburn (pretty sure they add too much sugar).
The biggest disappointment though was the Mongolian Beef. The meat was literally non-chewable - I had to spit out almost every bite. The flavor was also off. Honestly, don't the owners try their own food before serving it?
Bottom line, it's over hyped. Paid $63 & was disappointed.
My family & I tried this place for the first time today & really enjoyed their food .
We had the chicken Chow Mein, chollo beef, stir fried rice & fries & all the food was really good. The staff was extremely polite & helpful & the atmosphere was great.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I have been wanting to try this ace for while & it was nice. I went there with the family. The food is delicious we had the chef special soup & chef special chow mean which were the best of the meals. The chicken & mongolian beef were great. Their rice was not that great.
I loved the jasmine tea. The decorations & atmosphere were nice but the service was not all that. There were not that welcoming or smiling felt like they were tiered while they just opened my sister even felt like they did not want to serve her at all. It was still a nice place to eat at for halal options.
Amazing Halal authentic chinese food located at central downtown run by a wonderful person. We had their Mongolian beef, chicken manchurian & chili chicken. All were delicious!
