Here for a few days & was referred to this restaurant. The experience is one for the books & will definitely recommend it to anyone in town looking for comfort food! Our waiter Cody helped to make the experience pleasant. Food was great too! Bacon was cooked to perfection & the smoked meat was flavourful.

Classic diner serving up all of the Quebecoise staples - steamies, poutines, subs, clubs & more. If you are a tourist & want an authentic taste of Montreal, this would be a great pick. Close to the metro so it's easy to get to even in the cold winters, with warming service to welcome you. The food is always prepared fast. Sadly there just 2 slow , eels like a deli but serving wise way to slow. I expect to get my food inside 10 to 15min, 10 minutes in no one still dint take my order , I hade to walk to & ask I am suppose to put my order in at counter or someone will come in serv me? Told myselft let's not eat, so I decide to leave but get 2 hotdogs 2 go, been waithing 15 min & still no hotdogs.. 15$ btw.View more

Upon tried this resto after friend referred me, was greatly disappointed that my 14" Steak on Steak sous-marin was mainly all salad & tomatoes; where was the beef & cheese? Certainly not worth $18.xx plus tax.View more

Finally tried out Greenspot Restaurant, an old school diner institution, known for their breakfast & poutine. - The house combo ($16.25) - smoked meat, crepe, bacon, ham, sausage, beans, toast & hash browns. Nothing memorable, heavy - Grilled cheese ($7.45) - meh. Skip it - 2 eggs with ham ($11.25) - standard fare - BLT with egg & cheese ($10.75)View more

Great place for a truly decent meal, fresh, pleasant atmosphere, excellent service. The prices are extremely fair, quantity is more than adequate for one, quality is 5 star. Old style diner atmosphere, homey feeling. The wait staff are incredible!View more
