The plate I had was generously portioned, perfectly cooked, & hit all the right notes for classic comfort food. There's nothing overly fancy about this spot, which is exactly what makes it stand out-it's all about good, honest food. Unlike some of the big-name Montreal brunch places like Beauty's or Arthur's, Gerry's focuses on delivering quality without the fuss. Loved everything about it & can't wait to go back for more!
L'assiette de smoke Meat froide , trop coûteux pour des frites congelés & un pain sec' le serveur avec aucun sourire ni politesse d'usage ( Merci, Bonjour, Au revoir ) malgré un bon pourboire que je regrette d'ailleurs.
Surprisingly nice experience with friendly fast service. No fuss simple meal at a good price! Will try again! I went for the smoked meat which was comparable to all the other big names so give it a try to see for yourself!

Mais Qu'est-ce que vous avez fait avec votre pâte à pizza Ça fait 2-3 fois que je commande dernièrement & que je trouve qu'elle ressemble plus à de la pâte congelée qu'à celle que vous faisiez avant (je suis cliente depuis plus de 20 ans !!). Trop de farine & d'eau ! vous n'avez plus de levure-levain Dommage. Elle était bonne mais, je ne commanderai plus : au prix que vous la vendez aussi. Très dommage.
An absolutely delicious hidden gem in Montreal! We found this place by chance & were probably the only English speakers in the place! Our server was kind enough to offer to translate our menus, too. The sandwiches were absolutely fabulous, as were the vibes! They had a fantastic singer performing in half of the restaurant, which made for a really fun time! Would highly recommend a visit to Gerry's if you find yourself in the area!
Best smoked meat in Montreal. Schwartz can go home! Tender, juicy, & perrrfectly spiced. A Montreal gem to be cherished. I love smoked meat & am from Mtl, so have tried it just about everywhere. Hands down best smoked meat EVER.
Always reliable for a place to grab some good old western cooking, deli sandwiches, pizza, sous-marins & more. But the service can be bare-bones, not friendly, just table service. Our waiter forgot my drink & didn't really look at us or follow-up after our meals were served. If the prices were lower, I wouldn't mind the mediocre service but I typically spend around $19-22 before tax. Husband loves the food here so won't be the last time we come by, but I might try take-out for the park next time.
We were having a dinner with my husband at Gerry's this Friday & absolutely loved it. The staff was super friendly & chatty. The guy who served us offered the deal of the day - it included fish & chips, soup, salad, coffee & dessert. The food was very fresh & tasty. The price was more than fair. Highly recommend this place!
