Located in the vicinity of Atwater Market, Geppetto offers delicious pizza made in a wood burning oven, but this isn't just any ordinary oven, it's an Italian wood burning oven. Here you will taste some excellent dishes with good value for money in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere surrounded by a retro-style decor with antique pictures and mirrors. Well spaced banquet tables allow you to spend pleasant moments in a warm environment and during the summer months you can also enjoy a beautiful terrace.
The menu consists of a good selection of pizza, salads, starters and desserts. The starters are really recommended, as well as their homemade desserts, especially the chocolate tart. The pizzas are prepared with fresh products and the highest quality ingredients such as mozzarella di buffala and prosciutto! Simply delicious! Their menu of the day is presented on a chalk board and accompanied by a list of cocktails.
Restaurant Geppetto is a very inviting place with a simple and successful cuisine. With just one bite of pizza, you'll get a huge smile on your face.
Geppetto Pizzeria delights with wood fired pizza, flavorful pastas, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that many describe as genuinely Italian. The restaurant is praised for good value, a thoughtful wine selection, and a terrace option when the weather cooperates. Service is frequently described as warm and attentive, with staff that make guests feel welcome, though a few visits note isolated hiccups and moments of slower service. Overall, guests leave impressed by the quality of food and the lively yet relaxed vibe, and many say they would return for a repeat visit.
Un merci tout particulier à Patrick pour son accueil & l'excellent service. We had a beautiful experience at Geppetto on December 26 - it ended very well my son & his family's visit to Montreal. The pizza were amazingly good & so, was the linguini carbonara. The staff was kind & professional. We enjoyed everything & we'll be back for sure!

My partner & I went here for dinner tonight & I got to say it was an amazing experience. I got the gluten free margarita pizza & it was amazing. The dough is made fresh & the sauce is beautifully flavored. Our waitress was on top of it. She was great at her job. The creme brulee was also gluten free so it was a nice way to end the meal.
We ordered two pastas, & some salads & cocktails. Overall service was great however food was rather lacking. Pastas are weighed down by heavy cream & lack much taste & texture. We saw some other people order pizzas which unfortunately looked very flat & not fluffy or soft. Our cocktails were basic but acceptable. Applaud the friendly service however food does not stand out at all.

Their pizza with chicken & pesto sause is fantastic!👍🏻 I also had Ceasar salad, it was just regular. Nice place to have lunch, but it may be fully booked in the evenings on weekends
J'y retournerai certainement!
My wife & I used to go to this restaurant often before we had our son so this was not our first time. However it was the first time in a while because they were closed at this location for a lot of the spring. Anyway my wife & I took our 16 month old son there this past Friday evening. The service & food was amazing as always. When we first arrived they had a little trouble finding a high chair for our son but I really appreciate that one of the people working there went out of his way to make sure we got our high chair, even checking their sister restaurant next door. There was a deal on drinks (we got some Aperol Spritz's) & they had a kids menu which was perfect for our son (things like pizza, etc). The foccacia appetizer was great, we were expecting bread with oil but it was closer to a garlic bread pizza (came out of the pizza oven) & was much larger than expected. My wife got the funghi pasta which she LOVED & I got the seafood linguine (with salmon & shrimp). We sat inside, which was fairly quiet, food came fast even though their terrace was packed, & the waitress brought a coloring book for our son to keep him entertained till the food arrived. Was always a nice place for a date (as I mentioned we used to go a lot before our son was born) but also great for a family dinner as well. Very highly recommend.
Excellent lasagna. The waiter was somehow distracted. I had to reach her for a second drink. The waiter that came after her was more attentive. Maybe she was just a substitute while he was on a break. But the food is great. I went twice, I will try again when I get back to Montreal.
I have been here before & it never disappoints. Food is top tier. Mushroom tagliatelle, meatballs & antipasto were all excellent. Prices are reasonable. You feel like you are getting your money's worth.
