We yorecently, Travelfamily.canada, visited Gandhi Restaurant in downtown Montreal, & it was a delightful experience! The customer service by Faruk Ahmed was on point, with friendly & attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, & we loved that there were halal options available. It's a cozy spot for a family meal with a wide selection to choose from. The entire experience was amazing! We live in Picton & this was our 1st visit to Montreal. Due to a referral from a friend we made this our 1st stop for dinner. I am so glad we did! I love this restaurant! My husband & I first came here on the recommendation of a neighbor, & now we eat here regularly. I can only speak to the vegetarian dishes, because that's what I mainly eat, but the vegetables are always fresh & perfectly seasoned. The sauces are delicious without being heavy. The service is excellent, & we are always greeted like old friends.View more

Chicken in the butter chicken dish was overcooked & dry, & the potatoes were undercooked so they were slightly crunchy. The samosas were undercooked & doughy. The place is cute, the servers were pleasant & didn't rush us at the end of the meal.View more
