The food was okay, but expensive. It was unexpected & weird to find bell peppers in my mattar paneer (I'm allergic). The service was mixed. Our departing exchange with the busser was bizarre. He asked if the woman I was with was my mother. I said yes. Then asked if she was like 80 or something (she isn't & doesn't look it), & when I pointed out that it was generally considered rude to comment on someone's age, he just weirdly laughed & said'yeah, I know'. It was very awkward for my mother & I, & absolutely unnecessary.

We are vacationing in Montreal. By far the best meal we have had while we were here. We had the most delicious curry lamb we have ever tasted- it has a perfect blend of spicy & sweet. We ordered an appetizer of an assortment of tandoori chicken, & many other wonderful taste treats. Truly amazing! I only wish this restaurant was close by! Highly recommend Gandhi!

Avoid if you can. The food is not good, the service is lousy & the prices are prohibitive. Besides, if you are Indian or South Asian be prepared to be ignored by the staff.
The food was uncooked, very very oily & very very spicy. The thali we ordered included a hot beverage that was not served. The only item that's good is their welcome papad
If you have no other options, you may consider this restaurant else don't go there.

Very nice Indian restaurant. Kind people who accommodate requests patiently. Very polite & genuine concern towards serving customer needs. Plenty of vegetarian offerings & healthy versions. Must try in old Montreal area!
