This is my favourite Indian restaurant. Ever time we to travel to Montreal from Ottawa I make sure we eat at Gandhi's. The service is professional & courteous. The food is delicious. I was there this past weekend with my girlfriends & we had a fabulous meal. We're planning our next trip back.
Fantastic restaurant with a calm, tastefully decorated, & with serene ambiance! Service was impeccable & the food was delicious. Indian food can be heavy sometimes, but at Gandhi, everything was tasty with just the right amount of spice & ghee. The ventilation was also fantastic, so you won't come out with smelly clothes! A delightful find in Old Montreal!!
Impeccable service & amazing food. We were a group of 9 & we were very well attended by the friendly staff. We even got complementary dessert at the end of our meal. The food is really authentic & fresh, very well worth the price. The place is beautiful & has a classy chic feel to it. Perfect for a romantic dinner. I would strongly recommend to anyone who's looking for delicious indian food. I will certainly be coming back.
I live this place, I try to have a meal here every time I am in Montreal. The food is fabulous, the service is excellent, & the location is spectacular. I recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high-quality Indian food.
Impeccable service. Immaculate white table cloth setting. Best Indian food we have ever experienced. The chicken tikka masala & canard tikka were wonderful. You must try the lentil soup. Thank you for a perfect evening!
Hi, I & my family were not impressed with the taste of the food served. When the prices of the food is this high, the expectation would be to get a WOW factor. The only WOW factor was there with the decor, plating & service & that is why the 3 stars otherwise I would have given 2 star. We had ordered the tandoori platter, lamb biryani, lamb madras curry with an extra kulcha. The kulcha was very good. The tandoori platter was OK but again, I have had better in places less expensive than this. The Lamb madras curry was good but their idea of spicy means adding lot of red chilli powder. The worst was the lamb biryani which still had the rawness of the ginger garlic paste. We did not bring these up with the manager as we were tourists & hence did not feel the necessity. However I would not recommend this place for someone who wants authentic Indian food especially for the price.
Freshly prepared delicious food. Waitstaff was very impressive & came to our table immediately when called for. Beautiful atmosphere & presentation of the food. It exceeded our expectations. Best Indian food we've ever had (our only experience is within the US).

Some of the best Indian food ive tasted! Service on the slow side but maybe it is because they are busy taking their time at preparing the dishes to taste so good!
Service was prompt, polite & pleasant! The spices aren't the typical blends I'm used to when eating Indian food but were very good none the less (although a little salty). Very nice atmosphere & setting.
It is hard to say that this might be the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. The menu is comprised of dishes from all over India. Must tries are the Lamb Tikka Rejalla, Tandoori Chicken & their fantastic vegetable dishes. The service is also great & the staff are available to answer questions & suggest dishes. Highly recommended!
