If you're a fan of the other Ganadara locations, this one felt vastly different & a lot more like a fast-food place or pick-up counter. I went here with friends & we love going to Ganadara downtown, but the vibe is completely different. The food also didn't feel like it was as good as I remember it at the other locations.
Service was fine. There was only one employee working, but it seems like a lot of work for only one staff member.
I would recommend doing pick up rather than sitting down & eating.

I casually hopped in for a dinner with my homies & it ended up being one of our best experiences eating Korean fusion in Montreal (& we loooove korean fusion!).
I don't really know how to explain what exactly made it such a warm & cozy experience for all of us... but it was probably a mixture of the quality comfort food, the decor, & the staff who very obviously cared about the food they made & their customers' experience.
Also, the whole order-at-the-counter system followed by the the prompt table delivery gave it the charm of a snug cafeteria, yet still very much with the heart of a proper restaurant.
Anyways, I am quite charmed that we have a place like this now in Pointe-Claire! We have been long overdue. 😌

Tried the new Ganadara next to Fairview & it was pretty good. They seemed a little overwhelmed as it was busy but the food came out quickly. Most importantly, they fresh-fried the chicken. The only downside was they did not have a couple menu items in stock, an issue that will probably work itself out as they have a better idea of demand. Great value restaurant!
