Review Summary

GaNaDaRa is frequently praised as a cozy and casual spot in the city known for its authentic and delicious Korean cuisine at affordable prices. Many visitors highlight the tasty variety of dishes, such as the flavourful bibimbap, crispy tempura udon, and popular chicken cupbap, noting that the portions are often generous and satisfying. While the restaurant space is small and can sometimes feel lively or crowded, the overall experience is consistently defined by the warm, friendly, and efficient service provided by the staff and owners. Despite mixed experiences regarding service pacing and ambient noise, the restaurant remains a highly recommended destination for a quick, comforting, and enjoyable meal that captures a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.

The store itself was pretty small, but that's okay. The staff was very friendly. The food was also pretty good but I've had way better authentic Korean food, in some way it tasted fake.

I had the chicken cupbap, the portion size was good, but it was a bit too salty. The ramen was also on the saltier side. The place itself is relatively small & very casual, making it a solid spot for a quick meal!

Good authentic Korean dishes. Price is cheap & have large servings. I tried the chicken dak balls as appetizer & bulgogi rice bowl. This place is definitely reccomended for those who want korean cuisine for a cheap price.

I came to this restaurant several years ago. Not sure if there was an ownership change, but the food was not at all authentic, portions were small, flavors were bland. There was 1 piece of chicken in my chicken noodle bowl. Overall, terrible food & terrible generic kpop blaring the whole time. Never coming back.

Oh my god best food I've ever eaten
If you're planning on eating here please starve yourself or else you're gonna explode cuz you're gonna wanna eat everything
In the images I got thecupbap aux crevettes tempura it's was good but big portion but I loved it & we got the chichitteok it's my first time trying it. it was kinda hard to chew but the sauce was so amazing
& we also got the new menu riz au poulet teriyaki & oeuf brouillés it was rlly good
We also got extra shrimp tempura & the octopus balls
55$ (with taxes) for 3 ppl
The only problem is that there's literally 3 tvs playing different K-pop videos & one of them the music kinda gets annoying but it's fine it doesn't really bother that much

Not sure if they changed ingredients or what but from the past 2 years the quality has been going down so much, it's a disappointment honestly cause it used to be one of my favourite spots in mtl, service is always good so I'll give them that. & I go there to eat & I order from this place all the time so I'm not sure if I caught bad days from the kitchen lately or just a change of ingredients.

Real disappointment. No atmosphere, order at the cash, food average. Many other better Korean restaurants to choose from.

The place doesn't have a lot of spaces & it's a bit loud, but the food was great the fried chicken was juicy because they mostly use chicken thighs, the rice was perfect, the salad cut through the grease, & the dumplings were a nice touch. Very kind & efficient service also :) (big portions reasonable price)
