Review Summary

GaNaDaRa is widely recognized as a cozy, casual spot in Montreal offering authentic and flavorful Korean dishes at affordable prices. Many diners appreciate the generous portions, efficient service, and the variety of menu items, with popular highlights including the Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, and various rice bowls. While the atmosphere is generally described as warm and welcoming, some visitors note that the space can become quite loud or crowded, and a few reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality or service speed during peak delivery times. Despite these occasional drawbacks, most patrons feel that the restaurant provides an excellent experience, often highlighting the kindness of the staff and the comfort of the meals, making it a reliable choice for a quick and satisfying bite.

Resto coup de coeur. Nourriture délicieuse à chaque fois. Ambiance sympa & personnel très aimable !

Good place to grab quick lunch. It is to be noted that the bar version is better. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I would not visit again, but it is cheap & my friend absolutely loved it. She regularly visits. I had the rosé tteokboki & it was pretty mid. If you do go, do not go during the winter. Going in the winter is a hassle as they are no hangers for coats & the chairs do not hold your coats really well. The floors are going to be filled with brownish water since it is a small place.

Okja poutine was awesome! Fast & friendly service, reasonable prices, & tasty food & drinks. Outdoor wooden chairs were a bit uncomfortable but I suppose it's done in the interests of not having people linger too long!

Ive been wanting to try the small Ganadara for a long time & i finally got the chance to. I was very satisfied with the big one across the street & its safe to say the small one is equally as great :) the food is fresh & tastes amazing. Its also very affordable, i only paid 13$ for the noodles & 5$ each for the appetizers. Coming back here very soon

Food is great. We had the sundubu jjigae, which had a delicious broth & lots of soft tofu, veggies, & meat. The tteokpokki was great as well... The fish cakes are different from most tteokpokki, I think it's fried? A nice touch. Overall, worth a visit for the great food. Service was very quick & the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Will be back soon!
