Good food, they have a brisk takeout business which is good to see. The dine-in experience was less enjoyable due to there being limited space & wanting to fit as many people as possible.

Why? Why? We had been coming to Galo for many years but only recently returned. My husband, son & I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive & the wine suggested by our waiter was delicious. Why the why? Why no English menus? At the very least, why not bilingual? We all speak French now but I still prefer my menus & services in English, wherever it can be legally & courteously offered. Our waiter courteously offered to help with any questions. They only question I have for this fine establishment - WHY?
Galo is top notch, perfect food paired with impeccable service, everything on the menu is delicious, the Portuguese sausage is a little bit salty but it's just another reason to order a beer. Easy access & tons of street parking.
Delicious & lovely service. Sat outside on their spacious terrace & enjoyed the weather (it was actually not humid for once!). Had the chicken breast. Comes with a salad starter. & they serve warm bread rolls that are ginormous!
Quaint restaurant serving delicious grilled calamari & chicken. Servers were kind & efficient. I love the casual chic bistro atmosphere.
First time trying out this restaurant & it was through delivery. Very well packed, food was warm when received & everything was delicious! Prices are fair for what you get. We will definitely come back in person next time & try out the food freshly served! Also went in person & service was excellent, food is great as expected, especially the calamari & the pastel de natas which were surprising.
Ce restaurant est un véritable joyau que mon mari & moi adorons fréquenter depuis 4 ans. La qualité constante des plats est remarquable, tout comme la gentillesse & l'accueil chaleureux du personnel.
The food is excellent I always love this place but the service today was really bad! Both servants had an attitude & were really rude! I'm honestly very disappointed
Un resto plutôt décevant, une bonne ambiance mais du poulet & chorizo sec à souhait. Un courant d'air dérangeant dù au service en terrasse, le dit service juste adéquat n'a pas proposé de sauce lors du service & dieu sait que ça aurait fait du bien merci...
It is just a pleasure to have dinner at Galo. The owner is in every detail. Like home made food. Amazing rice pouding & portuguese grill. Low profile-high end Clientèle & celebrities from the sport.
