Not as Japanese as expected, but still good. The staff is great & the food is alright. The rice burger tasted good & full of sauce, but that makes it too wet to hold in the hands. The chicken curry was also good, but boiled chicken skin left a bad taste.
Unreasonable price, more than $60 per person, & there is not enough to eat. Personally, If you're curious, can try it but not recommend.
The restaurant is situated on a second floor with a nice view of the street down below. With the big windows, the restaurant is lit by natural light during the day. The décor is very relaxing. I ordered the BBQ pork noodle soup & prawn avocado salad. They both tasted great. The noodle soup is lightly flavoured so I didn't feel too guilty drinking all the soup. One minus is that the portion of the noodles is equivalent to small & there's no other sizing options so it may be insufficient for big eaters. Ordering two dishes was the right call for me.
Friendly & fast service, but no one in our group cared particularly for our dishes. The menu is also trying to deliver a bit of everything making it unfocused. Go for a Japanese restaurant instead for ramen, & a Chinese restaurant if you want Chinese food, down the street if you want dumplings.
First off, service quality & atmosphere are top notch. Second however; I had the beef ramen & I could tell that some of the ingredients were not particularly the freshest, especially the noodles (which if you're trying to market yourself as authentic you should have) although I may be completely wrong. The beef & toppings were great, would like the eggs to be a little less cooked to get that jammy texture. The broth was average, its definitely above what you'd get just all packaged, but not much more. To be quite honest I feel like the ramen should be 1-2 dollars cheaper. Come for a cute atmosphere & a comfy meal, but don't expect anything spectacular.
