Very nice homely & hearty service with very calm & cool mindset, the each food was very tasty, mouthwatering & overall amazing experience we have there today. We almost all are very much delighted to get such food in Montreal @ Canada. Thanks you very much Nancyben, Luv Patel & all Foodine Restaurant Team.
Delicious food & amazing service! Felt as if we are eating in India!
Very amazing food & hospitality!! Being from India & specifically from Gujarat, I can say without any doubt that this was the best Gujarati thali experience that I had in Canada. Their undhiyu was full of flavours & I wonder if I can get such Undhiyu in Gujarat itself!
I recently dined at this place & had an outstanding experience. The variety of curry choices was impressive, each one bursting with authentic flavors & spices. The quality of the food was excellent, & every dish I tried was delicious. The service was prompt & friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a genuine taste of Indian cuisine.
Had a great time with family, each dish was better than the last & we couldn't get enough. Taste was really authentic & amazing ambience.
Got good portions in half plate, ordered online & got quickly good food 👍🏻
It was amazing experience! Food was so delicious. It makes me feel my home food! Staff were so amazing! Service was amazing. 10 on 10 for all aspects. Do visit especially if you want authentic West Indian (Gujarati) food taste!
The best home feel & home food satisfaction. Do visit if your roots are from gujarat & visiting Montreal. The best dining experience with best service.
Amaaaazing Gujarati thali, loved the taste & the service. One of the best Indian food places in Montreal.
Excellent food, they also made Jain sandwich for us, usually when we order Jain food, we don't expect it to be too good, but this was fantastic. Loved it. Would recommend this especially Gujarati's in / visiting Montreal.
We went with friends for lunch. It was very nice experience. We had thaali & some other customized dishes of snacks. Everything was super tasty, appropriate spices. The staff provided great suggestions. The place maintains proper heigien, friendly staff excellent services. This was my first visit to Indian place in Montreal, they made it memorable indeed. Keep up team. 🙏😊
Poor experience. Only person working seemed like she did not want to be there. Food was average, Kathiavadi Thaal & Surti Thaal. Items were just warm not hot enough. Menu listed Basudi but served Mango pulp that was straight from can. Farsan was single, yes - signal, piece of potato bhajiyu, simply pathetic. Service was poor, no communication about menu item change, food luke warm & below average in taste.
When in Montreal & you crave Vegetarian Indian food, you should visit Foodine Restaurant at Queen Mary! The Restaurant is a delightful gem for anyone seeking authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine, especially those with a taste for Gujarati, Kathiyawadi, & Indian chaat items. The ambiance is warm & inviting, adorned with traditional Indian decor that sets the perfect mood for a memorable dining experience. The two highlights were: 1) Kadhai Paneer: One of the highlights of Foodine's menu is their Kadhai Paneer. The paneer is exceptionally fresh & tender, cooked to perfection with a robust blend of spices. The dish is a medley of vibrant flavors, with bell peppers & onions adding a delightful crunch. The gravy is rich & flavorful, perfectly balancing the spicy & tangy notes. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates a well-executed classic. 2) Shahi Paneer: The Shahi Paneer at Foodine lives up to its regal name. This dish is a creamy, luscious concoction that is both indulgent & satisfying. The paneer cubes are soft & soak up the rich, nutty gravy beautifully. The sauce, made with cashews & cream, is delicately spiced, making it a smooth & rich delight without being overpowering. It's an excellent choice for those who enjoy creamy, mildly spiced curries. Beyond these standout dishes, Foodine offers an impressive variety of other vegetarian delights. Their Gujarati & Kathiyawadi offerings are authentic & flavorful, capturing the essence of regional Indian cuisine. The street food section of the menu is equally commendable, featuring popular items like Pani Puri & Dahi Puri, Samosa, etc., which are prepared with great care & taste just like the ones you'd find in bustling Indian markets. The service at Foodine is prompt & courteous, with staff members who are knowledgeable & passionate about the food they serve. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, the staff are eager to help guide your choices to ensure a delightful experience. In conclusion, Foodine Restaurant is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to savor the rich & diverse flavors of vegetarian Indian cuisine. Their Kadhai Paneer & Shahi Paneer are particularly exceptional, making it a place worth visiting multiple times. With its authentic dishes, welcoming ambiance, & excellent service, Foodine is a top pick for vegetarian food lovers.
We went for the Unlimited Surti & Kathiawadi thalis. The food tasted very delicious. The service was also great. It was definitely value for money.
Perfect place for Gujarati food with good menu & affordable prices. I had Kathyavadi Thali. Loved & enjoyed each bite of my food. Food was same as home cooked meal 😋 The staff is super nice & friendly.
Very amazing food! You can't simply find this kind of kathiyawadi food.
I ordered bengan bhartha with rotla. I was surprised & disappointed with the dish because there was absolutely no bengan in it, just onions floating in oil. & the dish was super spicy. I just tasted the spices. Horrific. The rotla was paper thin. In the past this restaurant used to serve relatively tasty food prepared with fresh vegetables & mild spices. Not any more. I will not return.
