Omg so good! Not sure how I've never heard of this place, but for sure we'll be coming back! Great choices, & finally a resto on New Year's Eve that doesn't have a fixed menu. Yes it was a reduced menu & yes I'm sure the prices were a tad higher, but great choices. As you can tell by the picture we ordered 3 meals for 2 because we wanted the steaks but we were also salivating at the thought of shrimp linguine. So we each had a steak, great mashed potatoes & baked potato, & then shared the linguine. Oh! An I added a lobster tail.
The lobster tail was cooked in a way I hadn't had before & was so yummy.
The steaks were perfectly cooked, actually, no, I would say they were both undercooked (my medium rare looked like somewhere between blue & rare) but we didn't mind, for us better than being overcooked. I do believe a table next to us sent back their steak for additional cooking time.
Service was very warm, Carla was very knowledgeable (don't you hate it when you ask for an opinion & they say everything is good) she gave us great recommendations & was just the right amount of chatty vs not.
Drinks were yummy too. My old fashioned was super well done, very classic & perfect. I also really liked the Hendrix punch drink. & we had a 3rd one, can't remember.
The dessert were great. The molten cake is to die for. We also took a cheesecake to go, it was classic & yummy.
The only slight disappointment was that we were seated on the right side, a little less entertaining a bit quiet. While it was nice to see into the kitchen, we would have liked the left side with the bar & larger breezier area. That said, we booked a new eve dinner less than 24 hours before, & they explained all the other tables were reserved.
Highly recommended for food quality & service. If you have th chance, go there you won't be disappointed. See all the other reviews, compliments everywhere.

Finding a restaurant that will accommodate food allergies can be a challenge. The Firegrill staff immediately understood & accommodated my food allergy. I had the filet with grilled vegetables & both were cooked perfectly. My dinner guest had the ribs & poutine with mushroom sauce. Also cooked to perfection.

Food was good. I got the french onion soup & roasted beet salad with grilled chicken. French onion soup was the star of the show. Salad was average at best but the chicken was very good; perfectly grilled & moist. Staff was polite, atmosphere was nice. Overall fine restaurant in Montreal.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Fire Grill! The steaks were perfectly cooked to our exact preferences, juicy & full of flavor. Every bite was delicious! The ambience of the restaurant is warm & inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great meal. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top-notch steaks & a wonderful atmosphere!

Nice northamerican cuisine. The food is really tasty, fresh, & comes in copious proportions. The meat is cooked perfectly to the point you order, which is appreciated. Available wine is good & the desserts are incredibly good. The service was kind & quick.

Steaks were delicious & perfectly cooked. We had vegetables & fries as sides. Vegetables were very well cooked & tasty but the fries were lack luster. Gravy was delicious! We had popcorn chicken as an appetizer & they were nice pieces of chicken.

This was the perfect night for celebration for my wife & I. The steaks were done perfectly. The vegetables were crisp yet subtle & quite flavorful. I had the garlic mashed, which was full of flavor. The fillets were perfectly seasoned & cooked perfection. Service was Canadianly perfect. Would recommend. Will come back.

Steaks were perfectly cooked. Cuts of meat just a bit outside a 5 star. Staff are amazing & fast. Atmosphere is your standard steak house but still better than average. I would go back.
