Une très belle expérience au Firegrill, situé au coeur du centre-ville de Montréal. Le restaurant est spacieux & très agréable, surtout en journée où la lumière naturelle entre généreusement à travers les grandes fenêtres.
L'ambiance était calme, détendue, avec une clientèle variée. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la diversité des espaces : des tables classiques, des banquettes confortables, des coins plus intimes & un grand bar avec des chaises hautes. On peut facilement s'y installer pour un lunch entre amis, un dîner professionnel ou un souper plus détendu.
Nous avons commencé par un cocktail de crevettes présenté dans une coupe élégante, servi froid avec une sauce cocktail maison & un quartier de citron. C'était très frais & bien équilibré.
J'ai ensuite goûté leur fameux steak avec os, juteux, tendre, bien grillé - un vrai régal pour les amateurs de viande. Il était accompagné d'une sauce brune onctueuse servie à part, que j'ai beaucoup aimée.
Côté boisson, j'ai choisi un Bloody Caesar très bien garni, avec concombre, olives & céleri - parfait pour l'apéro!
Le service était attentionné, rapide & professionnel. Je me suis sentie à l'aise du début à la fin. Une belle adresse pour les amateurs de grillades de qualité, dans un décor chaleureux & urbain.

Omg so good! Not sure how I've never heard of this place, but for sure we'll be coming back! Great choices, & finally a resto on New Year's Eve that doesn't have a fixed menu. Yes it was a reduced menu & yes I'm sure the prices were a tad higher, but great choices. As you can tell by the picture we ordered 3 meals for 2 because we wanted the steaks but we were also salivating at the thought of shrimp linguine. So we each had a steak, great mashed potatoes & baked potato, & then shared the linguine. Oh! An I added a lobster tail.
The lobster tail was cooked in a way I hadn't had before & was so yummy.
The steaks were perfectly cooked, actually, no, I would say they were both undercooked (my medium rare looked like somewhere between blue & rare) but we didn't mind, for us better than being overcooked. I do believe a table next to us sent back their steak for additional cooking time.
Service was very warm, Carla was very knowledgeable (don't you hate it when you ask for an opinion & they say everything is good) she gave us great recommendations & was just the right amount of chatty vs not.
Drinks were yummy too. My old fashioned was super well done, very classic & perfect. I also really liked the Hendrix punch drink. & we had a 3rd one, can't remember.
The dessert were great. The molten cake is to die for. We also took a cheesecake to go, it was classic & yummy.
The only slight disappointment was that we were seated on the right side, a little less entertaining a bit quiet. While it was nice to see into the kitchen, we would have liked the left side with the bar & larger breezier area. That said, we booked a new eve dinner less than 24 hours before, & they explained all the other tables were reserved.
Highly recommended for food quality & service. If you have th chance, go there you won't be disappointed. See all the other reviews, compliments everywhere.

Great for family dinners or casual meetups.
Do yourself a favor & visit this lovely restaurant in Montreal downtown.
The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience.
One of the best ribs & steak we had while in Montreal.
The cheesecake was creamy & had a perfect graham crust.
We will be back to celebrate our next birthday.

Which hand do you use to cut your steak ?
Neither, you use a knife… 🤣

I came to Montreal for my honeymoon. I also recently was forced to go onto long-term disability, & tried renting a mobility scooter for the first time.
The firegrill has about four or five steps to the entrance, & my dumb self thought I could get the scooter up the stairs. Gloria saw me trying this stupidity, & came out to help, & quickly offered to bring me in via the back entrance.
The steaks are excellent. Juicy, tender, & seasoned well. I have been to many steakhouses, & few have been this good. The excellent customer service only enhances the experience. We only have two days left here, & have already decided that we will return before heading home.

We've had two work dinners here this summer & were very happy with both visits! The staff are super friendly, with the manager being our waiter last time & he's a very affable.
Between the seven of us we had many different items off the menu, each one well prepared. I wouldn't call this place fine dining, but it certainly a far better choice that other mid-range steakhouse, especially compared to the chains. Price is also very reasonable.

Disappointed in the rib steak that I received. For $58 it was tough & full of sinew. There was little seasoning & overall it was very underwhelming. Server never asked how anything was until the end of the meal.

This is our second time visiting. Both times the service was excellent. The prime rib roast & peppercorn steak is our favourite & we ordered these again. The only thing is the Greek salad shouldn't have balsamic vinegar. The overall atmosphere was okay, decor was nice. We would definitely return.

This steakhouse never disappoints. Delicious meals with romantic ambiance perfect for dinner date or even with friends. Servers & hostess are very friendly. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a steakhouse downtown.

Nous ont viens de Gatineau... jamais mangé une salade aussi bonne dans un resto, même celle de mon mari il la adoré, service au table super, elle a été branché mon cell pour moi... resto pas trop loin de marche du Centre Bell.. le steak de mes enfants étaient super bon aussi.. merci au cook & staff..

First time here & we were meeting our friend who we haven't seen in a year from overseas.
No reservation needed, atmosphere was lovely.
We were left to enjoy a nice time, conversation without being rushed to order.
We enjoyed the time we had & when it was time to eat everything was perfect.
Our bar/server was lovely, she checked in on us made us feel not rushed.
Rib Steak 18oz & lobster for myself was lovely & cooked to my liking.
Appetizers & drinks were amazing!
We recommend this place & can't wait to go back when we're in Montreal again.

Nous nous sommes rendus car cherchant dans l'immédiat un restaurant. Sans réservation, nous avons eu une place. Service parfait. Nourriture bonne sauf que ma patate n'était pas chaude & mon steak cuisson moyenne n'était pas tendre. Dans l'ensemble tout était correct. Nous avons stationner en face (stationnement intérieur) pour 15$. Je recommande ce restaurant, merci à Larissa pour le service.

Rich menu, beautiful food, good ambience, excellent service. They serve the food really fast, almost at fastfood speed, but cooked to perfection. I will visit this place again for steak cravings. I must especially commend the steak salad, which was the highlight of our dinner!

We had a fantastic New year's evening meal here, the food & service were excellent, Spiros who attended our table was delightful, & made it a special evening, the steaks were superb & cooked to perfection, the cocktails best we've ever tasted. I would definitely eat here again highly recommend this place.
