Great West Indian & Haitian plates. The curried Goat is one of the better ones in the city. They stew it low & slow, not like a lot of other spots that leave the meat being tough. Great griot & Jerk chicken as well.
Editing review in 2026 from two years ago. I find Faybees has been slipping a touch lately, food still tastes decent but the portion size of goat, griot is unacceptable. Big increase in price as well especially since the move to Sherbrooke. Spots like Pimentos load of great curry goat for less. Not sure I would go back at that price/portion size. Hope to hear that it will change.
I will never waist my money here again & would suggest no one looking for a decent serving for their money even look at this place . Oxtail meal & got 3 TINY pieces of Oxtail but plate LOADED with rice
Got a LARGE BEEF SOUP WITH NO BEEF got a BONE WITH NO MEAT ON IT OR IN THE SOUP KUAT WATER & DUMPLINGS & POTATOES 🤬🤬 waist of my money for rice dumplings & BONES 🫠 so vex dash it never again just sicked me 50$ total for ........
Food here is great however they typically only have about half their menu available
Preferred their upper lachine location over the new spot on sherbrooke personally
Food was good, the curry goat was great, rice & peas excellent ...Would definitely visit again...& good music too, they need more customers
No one answers you, everything goes slowly, & they don't value your time at all.

I placed an order for a goat roti around lunchtime. While the flavor was rich & enjoyable, I was disappointed with the preparation. It appeared to have been reheated in a microwave & was not heated thoroughly, leaving parts of the filling cold while others were only warm. Additionally, the roti itself had a noticeably rubbery texture.
Not worth the 30$
