Had a great experience at Fal & Fel. The food felt fresh, flavorful, & well balanced without trying too hard. You can tell there's attention to quality & presentation. Most delicious homemade food, everything was so fresh! You MUST try their homemade lemonade & juice. The friendliest most welcoming service I have ever experienced. I will definitely be back.
It's our new go-to spot for the best Middle East food. We sampled a fresh salad & some of the juices. They were flavourful & oh-so-smooth. Our take-out order of falafel & chicken taouk were good portions, perfect for our supper. Most importantly, they were delicious! A great addition to the Outremont scene, & well worth the visit from anywhere in Montreal. It's nearly Labour Day & here's an update to our initial review: My wife & I tried two new additions to the menu at Fal & Fel. While not traditional Middle Eastern fare, who can resist ice cream? We sampled the chocolate & lemon flavours & were very, very impressed. First off, the chocolate: chocolaty without being too heavy, it is just about the ideal consistency. Rich in flavour, it doesn't coat the mouth or linger on. The lemon? Perfection! Not too sweet, refreshing & great alone or as a topping. By the way, the ice cream is homemade, without preservatives & no artificial colouring. No doubt, this ice cream is an easy choice in warm weather, but I suspect we'll be enjoying it even when the snow flies!
