Honestly I'm sorry but worst Indian I've ever had, I got a combo on Uber Eats & every single item was so bland & not good. Butter chicken was very pale & creamy no fragrance coming from that or the lamb curry. Samosa was also very bland & not good at all. Naan very thick & no ghee butter or anything.
The food was great but most of all, incredible service. The staff is so accommodating, & they gave us a surprise dessert for my birthday!! We also chose not to listen to them when warned us about ordering the spiciest choice on the menu. We were suffering from the spice & they took it back to the kitchen to make it milder. I will 100% come back!!
Awful butter chicken. The worst butter chicken we've ever ordered - a thick, neon?orange sauce, not even edible. We threw it all away.
Some dishes are easy too sweet. I believe they add dried fruits to them
New years eve we went to Star of India - they are so welcoming & kind & the food was so delicious & NAAN bread was 20/10. We keep going back over & over again & our meal was so reasonable. These guys are just a wonderful resto in NDG!!!
A definite go to Indian restaurant in Montreal! I've been going here for 20+ years. Great employees as well!
My favs are chicken tikka masala, chicken madras, okra… Consider dinning in too. Great atmosphere & comfy. Prices are very reasonable
Avoid. This is one of the worst restaurants serving bland & watered down food. Not authentic whatsoever. Go to Bombay Mahal down the street.
The service was amazing. However that was the worst indian food I have ever eaten in my life. I was there with my friend & she ordered butter chicken, the most basic dish ever it tasted sweet & like expired cheese at the same time. It was pricey as well two dishes were 60$. Avoid this place at all costs.
We usually order Indian food from this place. Last night we went there, as we had no power at home. This was our third time dining there, the first time was 3 or 4 years ago, & the experience is still the same. Great food, prompt & very courteous service & nice atmosphere. I can only wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian cuisine. We will definitely go back.
Amazing neighborhood restaurant. Some of the best Indian food in the city.
We were 6 & fortunately had a reservation.
The food, service & prices were all excellent.
I love eating in your restaurant in downtown for last two years. Sad you closed that one. Always love the two persons combos with everything including desserts
Simply the best Indian food served in the city. Friendly staff, fast service, clean & just great food. Thanks!
Such a wonderful place. Have been going there almost 30 years & it jyst keeps getting better! Best Indian food in Montréal.
Butter chicken is sweet & creamy with no heat. Perfect option for children & non-Indians. The palak paneer was okay but lacked flavour. Pappadams & a small bowl of delicious carrot salad are served before ordering. No Thalis on the menu.
