Enjoyed my moment there , the food & drink was all point wow & the waitress was very professional explained every dish we had a good supper should definitely comeback here
Not lot of staff, but the food was outstanding. If I am ever back in this area of MTL, I will be coming back. Staff is very kind, a gorgeous restaurant with such a cute atmosphere.

Our server, Daniel, was absolutely amazing! I went out with my sister, & we always argue over who gets to cover the bill. I asked Daniel to bring out just one bill, but he cleverly brought out two-one of which included the full total, while the other made it seem like the bill was split. My sister assumed we were paying separately, only to realize after I had already covered everything. It was such a small detail, but it completely caught us both by surprise since it's not something servers typically do. A brilliant trick on his part! Beyond that, his service throughout the evening was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, & made our experience even better. I'd love to have him as our server again!
Beau décor & belle ambiance au coeur du vieux Montréal. Sans être exceptionnels, les tacos sont bon & le prix est honnête. Le service est malheureusement déficient. Nous sommes clients à la succursale de Repentigny où le service est beaucoup plus agréable.
Pleasant servers. Atmosphere nice. Water on the table was too warm to drink. I had coke,excellent, my dinner companions had mojitos & a margarita . The margarita got sent back it was so bad. Mojitos were drinkable but not enjoyable . No one liked the food. It lacked flavour & eye appeal. Sadly will not return to this location.

Stopped by for a cocktail on a Friday. Ended up staying longer & eating wonderful entrees. The young man at the bar was extremely polite & made the best margaritas in Montreal. Will go again for sure.
Cool taco spot in Vieux-Montreal. Great taco options with an amazing quesadilla. Shame we came after the patio was shut down, would have been a great view of the street,
We live in Mexico & were pleasantly surprised by the authentic & creative fare offered by Escondite Montreal. If you enjoy true comida Mexicana, give them a visit & if you're lucky, you'll get Emilie as your server! She's a bright light that augmented our experience!
Escondite est l'un de mes resto favoris, j'ai été à leur succursale de la rue Drummond, rue Union & celui au Quartier Dix30 en plus d'avoir commandé plusieurs fois par Ubereat pendant la pandémie. J'ai essayé celui du Vieux Port dernièrement avec un groupe de 4 amies, la nourriture & l'ambiance du resto étaient à la hauteur (5 étoiles), mais le service était vraiment horrible! J'ai rarement été aussi mal servie, la serveuse avait carrément l'air bête, elle ne venait jamais à notre table nous devions l'accrocher quand elle passait pour commander un autre verre ou le dessert ou prendre la facture & nous avions l'air de la déranger à chaque fois alors que le restaurant était à moitié plein & qu'ils étaient 2-3 serveurs. Je vais continuer à aller au Escondite, car tout est délicieux & frais, mais peut-être plus à celui du Vieux-Port malheureusement.
