Sophia behind the bar is very knowledgeable & provides excellent & friendly service! If you have a penchant for tequilas, then this is the perfect place for you. Escondite is an inviting oasis amidst a sea of other pretentious restaurants. We'll be back!
First time at Escondite & it was worth it! Delicious food & friendly service in both English & French.
Guacamole was fresh & the bbq sauce on the chicken as fantastic!
The place is very disorganized & the staff seemed overwhelmed. The wireless credit card machines were not working for quite a while with no apologies or explanation. The tacos are very small but the lamb was good.
The setting outside is very nice with beautiful hanging baskets
Came in tonight for some drinks & had a great experience. Atmosphere was welcoming, bartender service was fast & kind, my only concern was two people sitting at the bar heckling the poor bartender! They spent the night hollering names such as Mr. Cucumber, Big Daddy, Big Banana Boy, Tony, Toni, Greg Junior & … White power?! Someone help this poor boy☹?

I came here with a friend who was recently broken up with. The staff were so supportive but especially Mathis, the Big Banana Bandit. He almost stole two bananas just for my friend. The lengths these bartenders go for their clients!
Had the steak tacos & it was very yummy. Don't bring a banana if you don't want the bartenders to steal em.
The new al pastor tacos were amazing! Unfortunately, they were out of cactus but our server made a great alternative suggestion that hit the spot. If you're hungry, 4 tacos will hit the spot! Great service, tasty food & the patio was great this evening.
