Super belle première expérience au Escondite. Merci à Alexia qui a sauvé notre soirée. Excellent service de sa part! Malgré que le restaurant soit une chaîne, la nourriture était fraîche, goûteuse & de qualité. Nous reviendrons assurément! Le tapas froid de thon vaut vraiment la peine.
Excellente expérience. Restaurant original, on peut y partager des tacos à plusieurs pour avoir une meilleure idée de toutes les options. Il y avait seulement 2 serveurs mais ils couraient pour s'assurer de vous servir. Endroit idéal pour un repas avec plusieurs personnes, un peu bruyant si vous décidez d'y aller à 2. Nourriture excellente, les drink sont bons également.

The chicken tacos were fried in fish oil. It tasted like fish. Were all surprised by the presentation of just tacos in a plate. We got our starter after the main course. They felt bad the store gave free churro to everyone I don't blame the waiter as he was alone for the entire restaurant but the wait times were long .
We went out for Friday night dinner with another couple. The food, drinks & service were excellent. The resto has a great decor & ambiance. Our friends had the tasting menu & all the dishes were delicious. We had tacos & loved them. Must try!
Expérience superbe ! La nourriture & les drinks étaient délicieux, puis l'ambiance latine géniale ! De plus, le staff était très gentil & professionnel, particulièrement notre serveur Alejandro. Son service était excellent & il prenait bien le temps de nous expliquer les choix sur le menu. Je recommande fortement !
Endroit super, au-delà de mes attentes. La nourriture est super, pour tout les goûts. Plusieurs choix de tacos, d'entrée froide & chaude. L' endroit (location) du restaurant est bien belle endroit, stationnement est facile d' accès à beaucoup de stationnement petit marché de 2 min. Ces pas un petit restaurant donc réserver avant d'y aller la place est toujours remplis pour les soupers. Mon seul point négatif a été l'attente entre les entrées & le souper mais à part cela, tu parles & tu bois un peu & tout va bien. a retourner c'est sûr 2 personnes, 3 drinks, 2 entrées, 6 tacos avec tip 119$ It was a really good place, over my expectation. The food was really good, something for everybody . Planty of taco choices. Appetizer hot & cold. The location of the restaurant is nice & easy to find & is a nice place, parking is easy to find & there is plenty of parking inside & on the street. 2 min walk from inside parking to the restaurant. The restaurant is small so a reservation for super should be a must or else you might have to wait or might not be able to go. The only negative was the wait time between the appetizer & the super, but you talk & take a drink & the food is there. I will go back. 2 peoples, 3 drinks, 2 appetizers & 6 tacos with tip 119$
Le restaurant mexicain Escondite offre une expérience unique où le prix élevé rencontre la parcimonie culinaire. Pour 45$ par tête, notre table de dix a été gâtée avec des entrées minimalistes - une aile de poulet, une crevette, un morceau de chou-fleur... suivies de deux tacos chacun, une portion étonnamment modeste comparée à leur prix habituel de 12$. Les cocktails, à 13$ pièce, brillaient par leur abondance de glace & leur absence notable d'alcool. En somme, pour un total de 450$ (sans les brevages), on s'attendrait à une abondance de saveurs & de quantités, mais Escondite a réussi l'exploit de nous laisser à la fois légers de repas & lourds de facture.

La nourriture était bonne, mais le menu dégustation était très décevant! Nous avons payé plus cher pour le menu dégustation que si nous avions pris les repas séparément. De plus, tous les repas sont dans le menu régulier, rien de spécial. Nous étions deux personnes, donc total de 80$ pour deux. Nous avons eu 3 entrées, 6 tacos & 1 dessert...pour deux personnes. Au final, séparément, cela nous aurait coûté 75$ pour nos propres choix de repas...& finalement 80$ pour ne pas choisir ce qu'on voulait réellement...ordinaire ! Je ne recommande pas le menu dégustation. Prenez ce que vous voulez, ça coûtera moins cher !
Bel endroit. Nourriture exquise & typique mais à un prix trop élevé. Oui la Covid & l'inflation mais choix de menu beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est. Excellent choix de cocktails mais très peu en terme de biere. Pas de.special ou happy hoir, ce qui serait un incitatif intelligent. Bref, bellenplace, bonne bouffe mais à un coût élevé.

First time I went to this restaurant at Dix 30. Staffs were friendly. The decorations of the restaurant are very stunning & beautiful. & the cocktails were very delicious (especially coriander smash). Why did I give three stars because the food was just average. & we had also ordered three appetizers & one of the appetizer came later on. So one of our friend was watching us while we were eating. & her appetizer came later when we finished. Overall, good place to hangout if you like cocktails.
Was in Montreal with some friends from Vancouver & we decided to take a ride on the new REM. A friend suggested we get off at Du Quartier Station & explore Solar Uniquatier. We explored the area & eventually came across this lovely little resto. It was a nice day so we sat on their patio to enjoy a light lunch.
We ordered some Caesars, although in hindsight I think I should have tried one of their signature drinks like the Margarita Media Noche. Next time!
We ordered some guacamole & some tacos. We misunderstood the menu & didn't think to clarify with the server if we could mix & match the 2 tacos in an order. We ordered different types of tacos so we could enjoy different flavours, & ended up with twice as many tacos as we expected. They were delicious though & we managed to eat almost everything.
The server, who we suspected may be one od the owners, was very good. Although it may be good practice in future to clarify that the 2 tacos in an order must be the same kind. Our fault though for not asking.
It was a good spot though & we did enjoy the guacamole ans tacos very much.

Non seulement c'est délicieux (je prends toujours le menu dégustation) mais en plus l'endroit est superbe & le service est impeccable. On continuait à nous amener de l'eau alors qu'on avait déjà payé c'était vraiment gentil 😊
Was looking so forward to eating here. Unfortunately I think the staff isn’t properly trained at ALL. None of them seem to have any previous experience working in a restaurant. Waited 25 minutes for water & no one even came to see us…. When we asked the waitress she replied « oh that’s what the emergency was? » & then went to get it for us. Food however, was delicious & arrived in a very timely manner. Service is à zéro. If you’re willing to compromise, then I would recommend it.
