The reviews were so positive, especially about the service, I thought they were by paid actors. Im happy to confirm that they are all true. Service was excellent. We realised that Pedro is an OG from the Union location. He really took care of us. I highly recommend the'experience' option. At 40$pp it's one of the best values right now. It lets you try a bit of everything & we loved each dish. For me some of the fusion options were real surprises (gyoza, general Chapo wingd, korean tacos). Drinks were a bit on the light side but were tasty. Pedro also explained that they will be opening a terrace in the summer so we're looking forward to that. We are lucky to have a bunch of great Mexican options in Brossard but you need to try this place out, especially if you are a fan of the downtown locations.
Très beau restaurant, le décor est réussi & il y a clairement beaucoup de potentiel.
Le guacamole, les drinks & le service étaient 5 étoiles - vraiment impeccables. Le personnel était attentionné & agréable, rien à redire de ce côté.
Par contre, la nourriture (menu dégustation à 45 $) était très ordinaire. Rien ne s'est vraiment démarqué & plusieurs plats étaient décevants. La salade de papaye & concombre semblait avoir été préparée la veille. Les tacos n'étaient pas agréables à manger - j'ai pris une bouchée de chacun & je les ai laissés. Les churros étaient secs.
J'ai vu plusieurs commentaires positifs, donc peut-être que c'était simplement une mauvaise soirée. Toutefois, avec toutes les bonnes options qu'il y a à Brossard, j'avais des attentes plus élevées.
L'ambiance manquait un peu de vie pour un vendredi soir. C'est un bel endroit, mais il manque ce petit quelque chose pour donner envie d'y retourner.

Service impeccable, beaucoup de choix de drinks, d'entrés, de tacos.... il y a une option dégustation qui permet de goûter à 3 entrés, 3 tacos & un dessert ce qui est très intéressant
Was super excited to try this spot out but I was pretty disappointed. I found that the tacos lacked so much flavour. I had heard such good things of this restaurant but I personally would not go back. The drinks were good. The chips & guacamole tasted like nothing, not even salty a little. The tacos needed sauce because the toppings & the meat were all bland. I would come here for the atmosphere, get a little margarita but that's it!
Escondite in Brossard is wonderful. I went with my friend for some drinks & snacks & had a lovely experience. Katerina was our server & she was awesome. She went through the menu thoroughly with us & was very kind. Very enjoyable & would definitely go back.
I honestly wasn't expecting this place to be that nice… We took experience & it was a lot of good food. Our waitress Katerina was so kind & recommended us delicious drinks. Thank you!

I had a lovely experience at Escondite. The food was very good, & the drinks were spot-on for a fun night out. The manager, Manuel, was incredibly welcoming & ensured everything went smoothly. The restaurant had a lively ambiance with enjoyable music that added to the overall vibe. With great food & service, it's definitely a place I would recommend. Positive vibes all around!
We had the best experience last night at this place! Food was really yummy our drinks were delicious & the best of all is the service, Jennifer really went above & beyond, making sure we had everything we needed/wanted, really sweet. If you go there make sure to treat yourself to the churros fresh & authentic taste!
Great place to get some drinks. Stay away from the food, though. Very expensive, not so good & the variety is close to zero. Go somewhere else if you're looking for good Mexican food.
