Malheureusement, la nourriture n'était pas du tout à la hauteur de nos attentes. Poulet froid & sec. Service rapide, limite trop, ce qui nous a fait questionné à savoir depuis quand le poulet & crevettes étaient cuites & laisser sur le comptoir. Margarita n'avait pas le goût authentique d'une vrai Margarita du Mexique. On avait l'impression que c'était un mélange déjà prefait.
Les saveurs ne sont pas authentique à la vrai cuisine mexicaine, on voit que c'est commercialisé comme endroit.
L'ambiance était toutefois positive l'endroit est beau & propre.
Was super excited to try this spot out but I was pretty disappointed. I found that the tacos lacked so much flavour. I had heard such good things of this restaurant but I personally would not go back. The drinks were good. The chips & guacamole tasted like nothing, not even salty a little. The tacos needed sauce because the toppings & the meat were all bland. I would come here for the atmosphere, get a little margarita but that's it!
Je dois avouer avoir consulté les avis avant de réserver. À notre arrivé (certes très tôt), ma première impression n'était pas des meilleures & me faisait sérieusement douter des étoiles attribuées : absence d'ambiance, mobilier peu confortable, présentation du menu… Mais dès que la margarita est arrivée, j'ai commencé à changer d'avis. Un vrai de vrai : pas de mix, pas de fla-fla, juste l'essentiel, & franchement excellente ! Puis est venue la guacamole, les chips, la salade de mangue… wow ! Tacos de chou fleur & baja délicieux.Je rejoins finalement les avis positifs & valide pleinement les 5 étoiles. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain, probablement un peu plus tard en soirée la prochaine fois !
Beau décor coloré, musique style reggaetton dont le volume mériterait d'être baissé de plusieurs décibels. Les cocktails (paloma & margarita) sont corrects, rien d extraordinaire. Les gyozas servis en entrée étaient délicieux mais servis tièdes, dommage.. Le guacamole/chips servi comme entrée goutait pas grand chose. Tacos fades, petits, peu de garnitures, pas d accompagnement dans l assiette. Choix limités. Pour des assiettes généreuses qui goûtent réellement le Mexique je vous conseille d aller ailleurs. Excellent service, par contre je n y retournerai pas car les saveurs n étaient pas au rendez-vous.

I wanted to say that the service at El Escondite is amazing. Thank you so much Jennifer for everything. Without a doubt, it is the best restaurant in the Dix30. & the margaritas are the best too. Super!
Nous avons mangé au Escondite Brossard hier soir & les plats étaient très bons, spécialement la salade de mangue & le ceviche de crevettes. Le cocktail fuego margarita, moyennement relevé était excellent. Attention aux cocktails contenant du jalapeno: le niveau de force est très variable d'un cocktail à l'autre. Le mojito est plutôt doux alors que le cilantro smash est en feu! Heureusement, notre serveuse Jennifer nous a offert une version moins dangereuse! D'ailleurs elle nous a offert un excellent service toute la soirée en s'assurant que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin.
Went for a drink & Peter the manager was great ! He was very attentive & I really enjoyed my time. The food was good, & the blood orange margaritas are the best.
Carola was our waitress & delivered excellent service! My friend & I were talking a lot & took our time to order, Carola was kindly checking in but not rushing us. Overall a great evening with delicious food & margaritas!

Je m'étais rendu à quelques reprises dans le passé à leur restaurant sur la rue Union à Montréal & j'en avais gardé que de bons souvenirs. Hier, je me suis rendu à leur restaurant dans le Quartier Solar à Brossard & vraiment, je n'ai pas été déçu non plus. J'ai commandé la guacamole, la salade de mangues, le pain de mais, les ailes de poulet, les tacos au surlonge de boeuf & le tout accompagné de margaritas Media Noce. Tout était vraiment délicieux! Leur restaurant de Brossard n'a rien à envier à leur restaurant de la rue Union (qui fut leur premier restaurant). Très bon service de la part de Peter au bar quoique son service était quelque peu lent au départ mais ce jeune homme sympathique a bien su se rattraper. Je vous recommande ce restaurant sans équivoque.
Nous sommes venus ce dimanche. Service courtois & professionnel par notre serveuse! Tout était servi super vite. Je recommande la salade de mangue & la margarita! On retournera!
Last minute decision to visit, glad we came. We will return. We were served by Katrina & had very friendly service. You have to have the special margarita, corn bread & Korean taco. Yummy!!!

Was in Montreal with some friends from Vancouver & we decided to take a ride on the new REM. A friend suggested we get off at Du Quartier Station & explore Solar Uniquatier. We explored the area & eventually came across this lovely little resto. It was a nice day so we sat on their patio to enjoy a light lunch.
We ordered some Caesars, although in hindsight I think I should have tried one of their signature drinks like the Margarita Media Noche. Next time!
We ordered some guacamole & some tacos. We misunderstood the menu & didn't think to clarify with the server if we could mix & match the 2 tacos in an order. We ordered different types of tacos so we could enjoy different flavours, & ended up with twice as many tacos as we expected. They were delicious though & we managed to eat almost everything.
The server, who we suspected may be one od the owners, was very good. Although it may be good practice in future to clarify that the 2 tacos in an order must be the same kind. Our fault though for not asking.
It was a good spot though & we did enjoy the guacamole ans tacos very much.
