Great restaurent. Food & portion were above expectations. Serve from waitress was excellent. Super value for the price. Only negative is the loud noise. Very echoey. Had a hard time e-learning the couple we were with.
We had a lovely group lunch with 10 people. Service was excellent - patient (getting a group to order can sometimes be like herding cats :-)), friendly, accommodating with regard to extras & modifications. Everyone was happy with their meals which all arrived at the same time, & almost everyone went home with leftovers, even those who had ordered "only" appetizers - they are huge! I would have given five stars for the food, if the dessert selection was more diverse. There were ten different kinds of (cheese) cake & some ice cream, & I would love to see more variety. Otherwise an overall excellent experience at very decent prices.
I got the BBQ burger st-louis, it was a really good portion. Most people at my table went home with extra food. So good food for a good price. Only thing i wasn't a fan of was that the boss got mad at us for some people being late. I understand so I would say for people who want to celebrate a birthday with 20+ people it won't be as nice.
We were a party of 21 for a Christmas dinner. The service was great & friendly. The food was good & the portions are big while reasonably priced. A nice surprise. Good job Elixor.
"Above average in price & about what you'd expect" The name elixor is iconic. I wouldn't ever want it to go. That being said it lends itself to fulfilling your standard expectations. The cheese cakes are great. About half the menu is really decent. The other half is about as memorable as your daycare food. It's not bad it gets the job done. The atmosphere is incredible. The high ceilings & warm lighting feel great. Management super chill & arguably too good for really average food. The service is nice. It feels like it's an experienced team that runs well & communicates efficiently. Price is narrowly above average. But big portion sizes & good quality service & atmosphere more than make up. Elixor good is best eaten when with big company as the space is more than accommodating.

It’s my first time there . My gf invited me as she got these 20$ coupon for the restaurant.
The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic inside. It feels like some sort of oasis . Even though but old , but had that spark to compete with modern restaurants.
We started with appetiser like calamari & pizza 🍕 it was delicious.
The calamari was so tasty with fresh lemon & the dip for pizza were so crispy & tasted so good . We certainly enjoyed that aroma & devoured the taste.
We had cocktails like ginger lime margarita & piña colada.
Ginger lime was added extra salt but with out the salt the drink was fabulous.
Now the main course we ordered like sea food which was CAJUN SHRIMP & CHICKEN JAMBALAYA & cheese pizza for my gf.
My gf reserved table prior as it can get seriously busy during weekend around 7pm .
We chose the booth so it’s more calm & zen as the weather outside was so calming , romantic & fall-ing for golden leaves 🍁 with nice rainbow 🌈..
There’s hell of parking & it’s popular area in DDO for sure.
The service staff were welcoming & friendly
Overall, I had pleasant experience with this restaurant. I would like to come again as I see more couples & families show up to this restaurant. Surely good for valentines dine or any family get together etc with reasonable prices.
This restaurant surely has a level of class which falls under my cup of tea.
A lovely dining experience. Beautiful dining room, impressively diverse menu with tons of options & very satisfying overall. The burger I got was cooked perfectly (though the smear of guacamole inside kind of made the whole thing lose structural integrity) & it came with fries & chili-style baked black beans. I also got a grilled shrimp skewers (which most meals offer as an optional add-on), & the shrimp were large, wonderfully cooked & very flavorful. It's a bit pricey, but when you get your food, you understand why.
All on all, if I've ever got the cash for it & I'm in the neighborhood, I'd eat here again without hesitation.
We were a party of five on Saturday evening. We all ordered something different, the food was excellent, the portions were very generous, the person who served our table was wonderful & even had a great sense of humour. On top of all that the price was reasonable. One of the few restaurants we go to that I have no complaints only compliments.
It was a wonderful experience! The food was fabulous! Service impeccable. I wish I could remember our waitress' name but she went above & beyond. Very attentive. Quick service, & was even shocked at the low price for 4 meals/ 1 appetizer/ 2 beer. $135. Everyone was very happy with their experience. We would definitely recommend it!! We'll be back!

Well from all the reviews I thought this would be a great place. WRONG
Had a special dinner planned with friends...first & foremost the place is LOUD we were seated at a
Round table in the middle of the floor...could not hear anything! Anyone was saying. Next the waiter delivered our
Drinks which were excellent...& spilled beer on my hubby's leg..great start to our meal
Food good but over priced ..Will not be back even though we have a restaurant here at Dix30
