It has been many years that the likable Elio and his wife Nina from the province of Avellino close to Naples have opened the doors of Restaurant Elio Pizzeria. We must say that this restaurant is not just a simple pizzeria, Elio and family offer to their North American customers typical Neapolitans Home Style dishes. During all these years, Restaurant Elio has served numerous and faithful customers. When the restaurant first opened in 1964, it had the ability to serve only 18 diners. Today, Elio and family are proud of being able to accommodate more than 700 individuals due to their two reception halls (Buffet Anna Maria). With a gentle smile, Elio and Family wish you a great home style food experience, one you won't surely forget.

It has been a very long time that I haven't had a bad restaurant experience… But Elio broke the charm :/
Food was ok but not worth it.
We have waited for an hour -no exageration- for our main course. Explanations from the server when we reminded him of… …us waiting; our food came out after the food of the group.
I could understand that type of situation but with a head's up & with a real conflict of orders ; that group had arrived way after us, so we were not happy with the explanations!
We got the Abbondanza & Peppelonata to go. The pizza was super satisfying - smoky, cheesy, & absolutely delicious! The Abbondanza was really meaty & perfect if you love that rich, slightly indulgent flavor.

Food wise it is not what it used to be. The pizza is bland & uninspired. This place used to be the best pizzeria in town. Unfortunately now the pizza is really nowhere near the Italian standard. Sad to see such an institution of the community arrive to this point. Pizza needs a lot of work.
The Good:
- Simple & delicious Italian Menu
- Their pizzas has a thicker crust with a nice chew to it
- Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente & the meat sauce had a rich flavor with perfect acidity
Things to Improve:
- The decor is outdated
- Cutlery need to be changed to newer ones
- Waiters can be more attentive

Delicious food & outstanding service! Our meals arrived perfectly hot & at the same time. The service was flawless, with water promptly refilled without us even needing to ask.

One of the best gourmet experiences I ever had! The Pizza in the name & the location may not sound attractive, but I'm so happy that my airbnb & the reviews got me there.
Git a mix of pasta & pizza & loved it (I was smart enough not to eat too many of the complimentary rolled & butter on the table.
I don't eat meat, so this is definitely a great place for vegetarian, but looking on other people dishes - not only for those.
The got a generous patio, which is great these days.
My husband & I were guests at the restaurant last night for a birthday party.
We were greeted by Denzel & he took care of the entire event. He was extremely friendly & polite & very attentive. He made the evening most enjoyable. The food was excellent & the service was fantastic. Kudos to Denzel & Elios!!

Ce n'es plus ce que c'était… la pizza pas très bonne je me demande pourquoi! Cette endroit était pour moi la meilleure pizza à Montréal… dommage une vraie pizza italienne ça n'existe plus on dirait ! Trop commercial à mon goût
