Solid tacos for a quick bite while you are in the marché. Sampled the chorizo & the el pastor & really enjoyed the selection of salsas available by the counter.
The Mexican style corn was also quite good & a unique dish you won't find everywhere.
Great value for the money & friendly service makes El Valiente worth coming back to.View more

The food is definitely typically Mexican, but I found it a bit simple, dry & underwhelming. However, I suggest giving it a shot as the price makes it worth it. I would've preferred if the cashier spoke either French or English.View more

Not sure how I managed to wait so long to get this fine food. But today was the day I finally tried @elvalientemtl in #marchedelouest
First off the man behind the counter, who I regret not asking his name, was so kind & so interested in what I was ordering & wanted to explain his food to me. We're family very used to eating amazing Mexican food that is family made in Montreal... Did it surprises me that I have not been to this establishment until now.
I ordered chicken burrito, chorizo huaraches & the esquites..the street corn!
I was blown away by how fresh it was how quickly they made my order how well it was packaged because I brought it home & all of the fresh salsas that you can choose & bring with you.
My daughter & I shared some of everything & of course we had a ton left over & it is an absolute fair price for what you receive.
I look forward to my next visit to try a new things & I 100% recommend a visit there!View more
