The food is really good but their margaritas are absolutely amazing! They go down so easy that you might think there's a hole in your glass 😉 The staff is very nice too & do try the ceviche, it's phenomenal!
Went here on a busy friday night for a friend's birthday, everything was great. Food was amazing, especially the ceviche, to die for. The service was fantastic, we felt very welcome. the barmaid made us great drinks, awesome mojitos . Will return for sure
Amazing authentic Mexican restaurant in Verdun! Both drinks & the food were amazing. We were happily impressed by the ceviche, & their tacos (especially the lamb ones) are to die for. Of course we got margaritas & they did not disappoint!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Sabor de México to celebrate my birthday, & I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm & inviting, even having English menus, setting the tone for a fantastic evening! We started with the chef's special, which consisted of perfectly crispy mini chicken taquitos. They were a delightful introduction to the meal, offering a blend of textures & bold flavors. Next, we savored their citrus-fresh ceviche, which was light, zesty, & bursting with freshness-a true testament to the kitchen's mastery of balance. For the main course, we decided to share a variety of their entrees, & while everything was outstanding, the Tacos de Birria were hands-down my favorite! The tender meat, flavorful consommé, & perfectly spiced toppings were a match made in culinary heaven. To complement the feast, we enjoyed their mojitos, which were some of the freshest I've ever had. Overall, the food was vibrant, authentic, & full of personality. Whether it's for a special occasion or simply to indulge in incredible Mexican cuisine, El Sabor de México is a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

Honestly just a fantastic restaurant, the food is great, the people are kind & welcoming. We order the choriqueso, the ceviche (which is a much larger quantity than we were expecting), the guac & the taco tuesday special & everything hit. The guac was flavourful, the ceviche was a fantastic quantity & quality, the choriqueso made my heart warm. Then the tacos, the tacos were just Chefs kiss. The cocktails are great & will be making this my new second home.
Greatly enjoyed an impromptu date night here with my wife last night! The Sopa Azteca had no business being as good as it was, & the portion size for the Ceviche did not disappoint! Highly recommend the Mezcalita (I had it with tequila); I didn't know just how much I needed tamarin-rimmed hibiscus cocktails in my life until now. Everything from the flavour & portion size to the service & atmosphere was fantastic; even the prices are rather reasonable (~$110 after tax for x2 apps, x2 entrees, x2 cocktails, & x1 dessert), & we left very well fed. We even made a reso to come back on Feb14th before leaving. Excited to dine there again & try more of the menu!!!
Je recommande l'Expérience pour une première visite, j'ai tout aimé! Mention spéciale pour le ceviche. Le service était excellent, nous avons été super bien reçus. Déjà hâte d'y retourner.

Les portions généreuses, & le tout délicieux.
Il n'y a pas une ambiance "particulière". Mais j'aime bien quand on met de la musique du pays dans un resto de cuisine d'ailleurs.
Avec une bière & une boisson gazeuse $110 toutes taxes & pourboires inclus.

Restaurant charmant sur la rue Wellington avec beaucoup de saveurs ! Nous avons pris l'Expérience qui sont différentes tapas à déguster. Les nachos au guacamole & sauterelles, WoW ! Le ceviche est incroyable & rafraîchissant avec des crevettes croustillantes & une sauce exquise. Ensuite, plusieurs mini tacos & des sauces pour accompagner le tout & rehausser les saveurs. Dos margaritas ! Le dessert est un gâteau dulce de leche incroyable. Nous avons mangé à l'extérieur. Mariko, notre serveuse était remarquable & très attentionnée. Elle remplissait nos verres, a changé nos assiettes à quelques reprises & nous a apporté d'autres serviettes de table. Souriante, gentille & a pris le temps de nous expliquer chaque plat. Merci Mariko ! Nous reviendrons très bientôt avec toda la familia ! ♥️
