El Pacifico propose une cuisine mexicaine savoureuse, avec un ceviche souvent salué pour sa texture et son goût, et une sauce piquante maison qui apporte du feu et est très appréciée; le menu comprend aussi des tacos birria et ribeye ainsi que des options poisson et calamars, avec des sauces qui rehaussent les plats. Les portions varient, certaines portions viande étant généreuses tandis que quelques plats sont plus modestes, et certains fruits de mer peuvent arriver un peu trop cuits, mais la qualité globale reste élevée et les saveurs restent authentiques. Le service est chaleureux et attentif, mais peut être lent lors des heures d'affluence, et l'ambiance est décrite comme cosy et intime avec une terrasse agréable. Les cocktails et margaritas sont bien accueillis et le rapport qualité prix est jugé bon, faisant d'El Pacifico une adresse fiable pour une cuisine mexicaine savoureuse.
11/10 pour la nourriture, les boissons (surtout celles à base de mezcal) & l'excellent service de Natalia, qui était une hôte chaleureuse & organisée malgré l'achalandage. C'est notre nouveau spot préféré d'Hochelaga
Ceviche is good but really needed some spice, good thing they make an EXCELLENT hot sauce. Quite spicy, soooo addicting. Really took the ceviche to a perfect level of texture & flavour. The ribeye tacos were lightly seasoned but really good! Great with the green & hot sauce!
Excellent service ! Un énorme merci à Diego, notre serveur, qui a réagi super vite & avec beaucoup de sang-froid quand mon ami s'est étouffé en mangeant. Il a géré la situation avec calme & professionnalisme, ça nous a vraiment rassurés. En plus, le service & l'ambiance étaient parfaits. On reviendra sans hésiter ! Diego +1000 Aura points
We took the regular ceviche & the mango & habanero one, both were excellent, the calamares are really good as well, as a main I took the birria tacos, they were packed with meat & served with a little bowl to dip in, best Pina Colada I had in a while. Shout out to the little spicy sauce they serve, it's hot, but oh so good!
A very quaint taco eatery which was a short walk from where we were staying.
The service was impeccable, even finding us a table despite no reservation & it was busy!
The tacos were specstular! We had fish tacos, shrimp tacos, pulled beef tacos, pork tacos.
The fish tacos were heavenly! Very good.
The shrimp tacos, the shrimp was a tad overcooked, but still good.
The pulled beef tacos were also very tasty.
The pork tacos, the meat was a bit dry.
Overall, really good food. It took quite some time for our meals to arrive, not sure if that was due to the volume of customers in the restaurant at the time.
The shrimp tacos were so flavourful, the fish tacos were delicious, & the calamari was so soft & buttery... Someone in that kitchen really knows what they are doing. Service is friendly but can be slow, but listen if you're going to cook shrimp like that... you take your time working whatever magic y'all are doing back there!!
a perfect weeknight dinner spot; cozier, more intimate & upscale than other places in the neighborhood, but the prices are very reasonable - especially on tuesdays! great food!
