Came on a Friday night, the restaurant had a great vibe. The waitress was fantastic (think her name was Jane). Recommended some great drinks. Food came out fresh & delicious. Wasn't rushed & didn't have to wait too long between dishes. Great meal overall, very much enjoyed by both myself & my wife. Highly recommend & will def be back.
We came to El Gordo for an early dinner & sat at the bar since tables were fully booked. Usually we prefer a table but we really enjoyed our time at the bar. The service was great, friendly & attentive. My gf had the portobello quesadilla & I had the grilled chicken burrito. The food was really good & the beer refreshing on a hot day. We'll definitely be coming back.
We stopped by this place on a last minute reservation & loved it ! Really gorgeous decor on the walls 😍 It was super crowded but the staff was super nice & friendly with excellent service ☺? We had the Barbacoa / Lamb tacos & the Barbacoa / Lamb burrito & it was really delicious ❤? Cannot wait to go back to this awesome 11/10 Mexican restaurant & try other items on the menu ! UPDATE: Went for brunch & had coffee, mimosas, nachos, quesadillas, avocado toast, Huevosrancheros & it was super delicious !
Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles, car un mardi à 21h30 on nous a d'abord dit qu'il n'y avait plus de cuisinier, puis finalement qu'il n'y avait plus de desserts. Comme nous savions déjà ce que nous voulions prendre, nous avons été déçus.
Cela dit, les pizzas sont vraiment très bonnes !

Very good burritos & friendly staff & service but I was really turned off by a 16 dollar beet & goat cheese salad that was so small & stingy, it was absurd for the price. It's a shame, as the place has decent Mexican fare & a nice terrace.
The tacos are good. The service was fine. Ordered a pint but were brought a half pint. Figured they would just charge us for a half pint. Second beer was a full pint, but the waitress didn't seem to understand what size a pint is. When brought to the table she implied she was doing us a favour giving a'larger' beer size. We were charged for full pints. Super odd.

We reserved a table for 2 on a night when a Cuban band was performing. I honestly didn't realize how load it would be. My mistake. We asked to sit outside. Even though the terrasse was closed, the owner turned on the heater for us & serviced our table outside. We listened to the music through the window! Very accommodating, professional & warm ambiance.
